The college has five teaching departments: Department of Earth Science, Department of Oil and Gas Resources, Department of Geophysics, Department of Logging and Information Engineering, and Department of Surveying and Mapping and Geographic Information Engineering. It has six undergraduate majors in resource exploration engineering, exploration technology and engineering, surveying and mapping engineering, geographic information system, geology and geophysics, two postdoctoral mobile stations in geological resources and geological engineering, and two first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees in geological resources and geological engineering and geology. There are 10 doctoral programs in mineral survey and exploration, earth exploration and information technology, geological engineering, structural geology, "mineralogy, petrology, deposit science", geochemistry, paleontology and stratigraphy, Quaternary geology, computer technology and resource information engineering, energy resources and environmental geochemistry. China Youshi University (East China) Dongying Campus has nearly 10,000 students from China Youshi University Education Development Center and China Youshi University Shengli College. China Youshi University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, a national "2 1 1 project" key university, and one of 56 universities with graduate schools. The state gives priority to supporting the construction of "innovation platform for superior disciplines". China Youshi University (East China) is an ordinary institution of higher learning jointly established by the Ministry of Education, four major petroleum and petrochemical enterprise groups (China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group, China Petrochemical Group, China Offshore Oil Corporation and China Sinochem Group), the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial People's Government. The school was founded in 1953, then called Beijing Petroleum Institute. /kloc-moved to Shandong in 0/969 and changed its name to East China Petroleum Institute. From 65438 to 0988, the school was renamed Petroleum University, gradually forming a pattern of running schools in Shandong and Beijing. In June 2005, the school was renamed China Youshi University.
