China held the first and second international summits in 20 17 and 20 19 respectively, with a total of 1450 countries participating. This year marks the anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative 10.
In the past ten years, the "Belt and Road Initiative" has provided a Chinese solution for the global economic governance system from concept to action and from vision to reality, and has become a recognized platform for international public goods and international cooperation. On September 23rd, the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and the 7th International Symposium on Belt and Road Initiative and China Development were successfully held in the Business School of Shanghai Normal University.
The conference was hosted by Shanghai World Economic Association, Shanghai Economic Association and Shanghai Normal University, hosted by Shanghai Normal University Business School and Shanghai Global Urban Research Institute, and co-organized by Shanghai Institute of International Economics and Pan-regional Development and Cooperation Committee of Shanghai World Economic Association. Professor Jiang Mingjun, Vice President of Shanghai Normal University, delivered a speech, and six experts including Zhou Hanmin, Sheng Bin and Weigh made keynote speeches.
Effective measures to improve global supply chain security
Professor Luo Changyuan of Fudan University gave a report on "One Belt and One Road and Supply Chain Reconstruction", and deeply analyzed the influence of "One Belt and One Road" on the global supply chain through the combination of supply chain network analysis and demonstration. In the data analysis, it is found that after 20 18, the global supply chain has the characteristics of chain breakage and contraction.
Among them, compared with non-Belt and Road countries, Belt and Road countries have become more important in the global supply network, and the supply chain relationship with China has been strengthened. Empirical analysis shows that the Belt and Road Initiative not only increases the share of participating countries' imports from China.
It has also increased the share of imports from countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. The study also found that the "Belt and Road Initiative" is an important support for the diversification of the global supply chain, and at the same time it improves the security of the global supply chain.
