The Department of Information Management and Information System was formerly the Department of Management Science, and its major was Management Information System. There are 3 professors, 5 associate professors and 3 lecturers in this department, all of whom have doctoral degrees. The department requires students to have a solid mathematical foundation, rich and skilled computer skills, extensive and practical management knowledge, and systematic and in-depth information system application and management capabilities. The department takes the application and management of modern information technology/information system (including e-commerce) as the main research object, and aims at how enterprises can improve their competitiveness and management level by using information technology/information system, and carries out teaching and scientific research work in basic theory, enterprise management mode, information system strategic planning, information system and its management, information system development methods and information technology application. The department enrolls undergraduate, master, doctoral and postdoctoral students.

Information management and information system

The major of information management and information system mainly trains senior talents with the following abilities: (1) The ability to propose organizational management solutions based on information technology/information system in view of the challenges faced by enterprises; (2) the ability to apply and develop information systems, including the ability to analyze, design and program management systems and information systems; (3) Information management capabilities, including information resource management, system implementation management and information system evaluation; (4) Have the ability of scientific research.

This major requires students to have a solid mathematical foundation, including mathematical analysis, applied statistics, operational research and so on. , and have rich and skilled computer skills, including software and hardware, database, communication network, e-commerce technology, etc. Have extensive and practical knowledge of modern enterprise management, including enterprise strategic management, production and operation management, marketing, financial accounting, etc. It is necessary to have systematic and in-depth knowledge of information system application and management, including management information system, information system analysis and design, information resource management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), e-commerce, system model and simulation, decision support system, information system strategic planning and implementation, etc.
