Southwest Politics and Law University

Southwest University of Political Science and Law is a national key university and a first-class discipline construction university in Chongqing, with law as the main discipline and coordinated development of economics, literature, management, philosophy and engineering. It is called the "National Southwest Associated University" of law education in New China.

As of March 2022, the school has three campuses, namely Yubei, Shapingba and Baosheng Lake, with a total area of more than 3,000 mu. There are more than 24,000 students and more than 2,000 faculty members. There are 5 departments, 13 college, and 30 undergraduate majors. There are 3 first-class doctoral programs, 9 doctoral programs in two disciplines 10, 1 master program 10, 45 master programs in two disciplines, and professional master programs10.
