Shixin was founded by its founder, Mr. Cheng Shewo, in 1945. Since its establishment, the school has always taken "having both morality, intelligence and physique, both hands and brains" as its motto, adhering to the tenet that "schools are for students and students are for reading", insisting on self-reliance and taking pains along the way. However, thanks to the diligent and steady policy of running a school, Shixin finally gained a firm foothold in the higher education sector and gradually developed to today's scale. Here is a brief introduction to the development period of Shixin University: World Journalism Vocational School. A sound journalism needs enough communication professionals. In the autumn of the Republic of China, the World Journalism Vocational School was established with the location of Muzha Gouzikou in Taipei as the school site, in order to cultivate news communication talents with "morality, intelligence, physique and beauty". Classes started in June 65438+1October 65438+May of the same year. At that time, there was only one class in junior year and senior year. The Institute of World Journalism (49.8 ~ 80.7) was transformed into the Institute of World Journalism in the Republic of China 1949, with a three-year and five-year schooling. Shixin University (1August 1986-present) Shixin University has won recognition from all walks of life with its excellent school performance with the joint efforts of all teachers and students, and was renamed Shixin University again from August 1986. There are four colleges: School of Journalism and Communication, School of Management, School of Humanities and Social Sciences and School of Law. In August, 1990, President Cheng Jialing stepped down, and the board of directors hired Dr. Mou Zongcan to continue as President. On a solid foundation, he actively innovated and improved the quality of teaching and scientific research, which made our school reach a new height. Since 1994, it has been selected as an "excellent teaching" university by the Ministry of Education for four consecutive years. The current president, Dr. Lai Dingming, took over as president in August 1997. The Board of Directors also hired Dr. Yu Zhili as academic vice president and Dr. Qiu Shuhua as executive vice president. By the school year of 1997, our school had 4 independent research institutes and 19 departments, including 3 doctoral programs and 20 master programs.
An exchange student in our school died in the new university. According to experience, the cost of a semester for undergraduates is generally 8w- 10w. Tuition and accommodation will cost more than 2w. Living expenses are about 3000 yuan per month, and textbooks are generally 400-800 yuan. It costs a lot.
However, the news dissemination of Shixin University is good. If my financial conditions permit, I will definitely go.
