The teaching department of engineering foundation undertakes the teaching tasks of engineering drawing, mechanics, mechanics, electrician, electronics and other basic courses of the whole school of engineering and related majors, and undertakes the design (thesis) guidance of undergraduate graduates. In addition to actively undertaking teaching tasks, teachers of basic teaching departments also actively participate in teaching research and scientific research. The experimental teaching center of engineering basic courses consists of three laboratories, namely, electrical and electronic laboratory, mechanics and mechanics laboratory, computer engineering drawing laboratory and seven experimental sub-rooms.
At present, the experimental teaching center of engineering basic courses is open to all engineering departments, involving five colleges: Engineering College, Information and Computer College, Forestry and Landscape College, Textile Engineering and Art College and Economic and Technical College. Among them, the courses taught by the Electrical and Electronic Laboratory include circuit analysis, electrical technology, electronic technology, building electrician, analog electronic technology foundation, digital electronic technology foundation, semiconductor converter technology, machine tool electrical control technology and other related experiments. The teaching courses of Mechanics and Mechanics Laboratory include Mechanical Principles, Mechanical Design, Mechanics of Materials and other related experiments. The teaching courses of computer engineering drawing laboratory include: architectural drawing, computer drawing, mechanical optimization design, computer-aided design, C language, database and other related experiments. Electromechanical Engineering Park is one of the important practice teaching bases of Engineering College of Anhui Agricultural University. In addition to metalworking teaching practice, we can also accept students' professional practice, graduation practice, scientific research activities and other multi-level practical teaching and work-study programs, and also undertake mechanical processing business. The 3,500-square-meter workshop of the Mechanical Processing Training Center in the first phase of Electromechanical Park, which invested more than 4.6 million yuan, was completed in May 2005. According to the requirements of the school party committee and the school administration, after the factory building is completed, it is necessary to make use of the existing conditions, develop in a rolling way, raise funds from various sources, expand the scale of the electromechanical engineering park and purchase equipment. In the process of building electromechanical engineering park, we should adhere to the principle of high starting point, high quality and high standard construction. As a school-run factory, the electromechanical engineering park is not only a base combining teaching, scientific research and production, but also an important part of school work. The newly-built mechanical and electrical engineering park should provide places and equipment support for the practical teaching and scientific research of mechanical engineering specialty, cultivate senior professionals and practical talents who can adapt to the national economic and social development in the 2/kloc-0 century and meet the needs of the market, increase income through production and business activities, accumulate funds for the sustainable development of mechanical and electrical engineering park, and realize the preservation and appreciation of state-owned assets. At present, more than 2 million yuan of equipment has been installed in place.
At present, the Mechanical Processing Training Center of Electromechanical Engineering Park undertakes the teaching task of metalworking practice in the whole school. The practice workshop mainly includes advanced manufacturing process rooms (I) and (II), machining workshop, fitter and foundry workshop, forging and welding workshop.
