Introduction to Bohai Polytechnic Vocational College Bohai Polytechnic Vocational College is a full-time ordinary higher education institution invested and founded by Hebei Zhongcheng Enterprise Group, approved by the people's government of Hebei Province and put on record by the Ministry of Education, and enrolling students nationwide. College is the first batch of "Modern Apprenticeship" pilot institutions of the Ministry of Education, the construction institution of modern apprenticeship projects in Hebei Province, the excellent institutions inspected by the Hebei Provincial Department of Education for many years, the Hebei Provincial Professional Manager Training Institute, the member of the Education Committee of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and the vice-president unit of China Chemical Industry Education Association, and was awarded as "Advanced Unit of Cultural Construction in China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Colleges".
Hebei Zhongcheng Enterprise Group is the main base for talent training in the college. At present, the total assets of the group are 6 billion yuan and there are more than 2,000 employees. Twelve wholly-owned subsidiaries, two holding companies and two higher vocational colleges (Bohai Polytechnic Vocational College and Shijiazhuang City Economic Vocational College). Through the cross-industry, diversified and international development strategy, the Group has built an international development platform. The business of the Group covers real estate development, architectural decoration, property management, hotel management, leisure and entertainment, modern agriculture, big health industry, artificial intelligence and other fields. The college is located in the beautiful university town of Bohai New Area, bordering Bohai Sea and Beijing and Tianjin. Covering an area of 875 mu, it has complete teaching, living and sports facilities, with a building area of 193700㎡, fixed assets of 370 million yuan and more than 7000 students. There are 50 majors, including medical technology department, mechanical and electrical engineering department, traffic engineering department, economic and trade management department, information engineering department, golf college and basic department.
Adhering to the motto of "Xiu De, erudite, skilled and healthy", the College adheres to the development strategy of "building a school with characteristics, strengthening the school with talents and prospering the school with quality", sets up the school-running concept of "cultivating talents, cultivating moral integrity and cultivating Xiu De's sophisticated skills", and cultivates modern services, economic and trade management, architecture, electromechanical, automobile, information and rail transit. We have carried out such talent training modes as "dual-subject education combining work with study, integration of production and education" and "modern apprenticeship", and made use of the advantages of school-enterprise integration to realize "talent * * * education process * * * management result * * * * shared responsibility * * * *" between schools and enterprises, and embarked on a unique road of running schools.
There are complete training bases inside and outside the school, which can meet the requirements of students' professional ability training. It has two provincial-level productive training bases, namely golf training ground and building materials testing center, two provincial-level collaborative innovation centers of e-commerce and material testing application technology, and innovation and entrepreneurship incubation base of Bohai Polytechnic Vocational College. We have established a database of famous enterprises covering Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and established long-term cooperative relations with many enterprises. The employment rate of previous graduates is above 98%, and the rate of obtaining double certificates is 98.8%. Students have achieved excellent results in national and provincial engineering cost, e-commerce, computer, accounting, college students' entrepreneurship and many other vocational skills competitions.
The college provides training for students to take the exam, and students can enter undergraduate colleges for further study through the provincial unified exam.
