Linyi University (LYU for short) is located in Linyi City, Shandong Province. It is a provincial comprehensive university in Shandong Province, the key construction university of the National Development and Reform Commission's "Integration of Production and Education" project, the key construction university of Shandong Province's "Famous School Project for Cultivating Applied Talents", the implementation university of "Excellent Teacher Training Plan", and the member unit of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance.

Linyi University is an undergraduate university sponsored by Shandong Provincial People's Government, located in lanshan district, Linyi City, Shandong Province. The school was formerly Linyi Normal School, founded in 1958, and renamed Linyi University in 2008.
