Nanjing Forestry University, referred to as "Lin Nan Lin Nan University", is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It is a multi-disciplinary university featuring forestry and taking advantages of resources, ecology and environment. It is a higher agricultural and forestry college established by the State Forestry Administration and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, with a graduate school. Nanjing Forestry University, formerly known as the Forestry Department of Nanjing University and the Forestry Department of Jinling University, merged with 1952 to form Nanjing Forestry College, which was one of the only three forestry colleges in China at that time. 1985 was renamed Nanjing Forestry University.
