King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, or KAUST for short, was established in 2009 and is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It is an international private research university specializing in science and technology.
The school has the world's top scientific research equipment and laboratories, and is committed to promoting global scientific and technological progress through interdisciplinary research, education and innovation. According to the ranking report of QS World University Ranking-"Citations per Faculty", KAUST ranked first in the world for five consecutive years from 20 15 to 2020, which highlighted KAUST's influence in the global scientific research field.
