1. Sichuan Normal University is a key university in Sichuan Province and a key construction university in the national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in the Midwest". It was selected into the "Double First-class" construction plan of Sichuan Province and the "201Plan" and "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" of Sichuan Province.
2. As of June 2022, the school has established Lion Mountain Campus and Jackie Chan Campus.
