Study abroad expenses
I. Tuition fees
UWA has 9 colleges, and the tuition fees are different among colleges, majors, undergraduates and masters. The tuition fee of UWA is relatively cheap in the Institute of Education, which is 25,380 Australian dollars (126,242 yuan) a year, while the tuition fee of Engineering College is relatively expensive, which is 32,840 Australian dollars (163,349 yuan), and so are other UWA colleges.
In the UWA master's program, the tuition fee of the Institute of Education is relatively low, with an annual tuition fee of 25,870 Australian dollars, while the tuition fee of the Institute of Engineering is relatively expensive, with an annual tuition fee of 33,500 Australian dollars (166,632 RMB). Business school is also relatively expensive, 30,860 Australian dollars a year (153500).
Second, living expenses.
Accommodation: In UWA, there are 6 student dormitories. The dormitory is outside the school, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to the school. The dormitory provides students with furniture and three meals a day. The fee is 325 Australian dollars a week (16 16).
If UWA's dormitory is too expensive, you can choose the dormitory that UWA provides for students to rent, the cost is 100-200 Australian dollars (497 yuan to 994 yuan) for one week, and you can stay with a host family, the cost is 220-250 Australian dollars (1094 yuan to 1243 yuan).
Diet: Cooking by yourself in Australia will save a lot of money. If you cook by yourself every day, the cost of a week is almost 600 yuan. If you eat in some restaurants, you will spend twice or twice as much money. Students who cook by themselves can go to China supermarket to buy food, and sometimes the ingredients will be discounted.
Transportation: It's not cheap to go out in Australia by public transportation. The cost of a week can reach 15-40 Australian dollars (from 74 yuan to 198 yuan). Buying a monthly ticket is much more cost-effective than a one-way ticket. Students should try to live around the school, so walking to school can save a lot of money.
Others: clothes in Australia are not much more expensive than those in China, but it is difficult for you to buy clothes that suit you in Australia because the clothes here are a little big and it is difficult to buy clothes in small sizes. If you usually go shopping, you can go to a large supermarket and have ordinary entertainment activities, at least 1200 yuan for a month.
