School of Information Science and Engineering was founded in 2000 (formerly the Department of Modern Educational Technology). At present, there are four undergraduate majors (computer science and technology, electronic information science and technology, network engineering and Internet of Things engineering), agricultural engineering and information technology 1 master's degree program, undergraduate students 1040, graduate students 3 1 person. There are *** 16 laboratories, various specialized courses laboratories, computer laboratories, etc., covering an area of about 1900 square meters, with excellent teaching environment and advanced teaching facilities, with a total equipment value of more than 24 million yuan. In addition to professional teaching, the college also undertakes the teaching and experimental work of many elective courses of undergraduate and postgraduate public computer courses.

There are 53 faculty members and 46 full-time teachers in the college, including professors 1 person, 7 associate professors and 6 tutors for master students. The age and academic structure of the teaching and research team are reasonable, and the comprehensive strength is strong. Many teachers have gone to the United States, Britain, Canada and other places for further study. In recent years, college teachers have undertaken more than ten scientific research projects such as National Natural Science Foundation and Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and published more than 200 academic papers. He presided over a number of educational reform projects such as the Provincial Education Commission and the Provincial Education Department, and compiled more than ten textbooks and monographs in the Twelfth Five-Year Plan and the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan, such as C Language Programming, Computer Network, Computer Application Basis, Basic Computer Training Course for Universities and Introduction to Information Technology. With students as the main body, the college has built a tutorial management, project-driven and competition-driven teaching system, and continuously strengthened scientific and technological innovation activities.
