The School of Control Science and Engineering has established the national key discipline of "Control Theory and Control Engineering". There are two first-class disciplines and postdoctoral mobile stations in control science and engineering and biomedical engineering, as well as seven doctoral programs in control theory and control engineering, power electronics and power transmission, detection technology and automation device, pattern recognition and intelligent system, system engineering, navigation guidance and control and logistics engineering. There are 9 master's degree authorization points, including control theory and control engineering, power electronics and power transmission, detection technology and automation device, pattern recognition and intelligent system, system engineering, biomedical engineering, instrument science and technology, logistics engineering and transportation engineering, as well as control engineering, instrument engineering and transportation engineering. "Power Electronics and Power Transmission" is the key construction discipline in the 11th and 12th Five-Year Plan of Shandong Province, and "Detection Technology and Automation Device" is the key construction discipline in the 12th Five-Year Plan of Shandong Province.

The School of Control Science and Engineering has four undergraduate teaching departments, including automation, measurement and control technology and instruments, biomedical engineering and logistics engineering, and four corresponding undergraduate majors. Among them, the automation major is a national characteristic major and a brand major in Shandong Province, and has passed the national engineering education professional certification. Biomedical engineering specialty is a brand specialty in Shandong Province.
