1. faculty: as of June, 2002/kloc-0, there were 48 professional teachers in the college, including 2 professors, 20 associate professors and 26 lecturers.
2. On the training mode, the college mainly adopts the 4+0 training mode. Eligible students can apply to study at Bangor University in the UK. By June, 2026, 196 people had applied to study at Bangor University in the UK.
3. Chinese and English dual status, students of Bangor College begin to study specialized courses in the second academic year, and the first academic year mainly focuses on strengthening English learning; Those who passed the course in the first academic year and scored more than 5.5 in IELTS (not less than 5.5 in writing and reading) also obtained the status of Central South University of Forestry and Technology and Bangor University in the UK.
In the second academic year, the IELTS score must be above 6.0, and the scores in all subjects must not be lower than 5.5, and the dual identity of Chinese and English must be re-registered.
Chinese-English double degree:
Students who have completed all the credits in the talent training program of Bangor College and meet the requirements for awarding university degrees in China and Britain will receive the undergraduate diploma of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, the bachelor's degree certificate and the bachelor's degree certificate of Bangor University in the UK.
Bangor College of Central South University of Forestry and Technology (hereinafter referred to as "the College") is the only Chinese-foreign cooperative education institution in Hunan Province approved by the Ministry of Education (Foreign Education Letter [2013] No.70), which was jointly established by Central South University of Forestry and Technology and Bangor University in England.
The college actively introduced the talent training mode of Bangor University, and combined with the national conditions of China, the two partners made a talent training plan to carry out higher education at the undergraduate level.
The college now offers four undergraduate majors: forestry, finance, accounting and electronic information engineering. All the specialized courses adopt the curriculum system of Bangor University, and all the courses are taught and assessed in English. Specialized courses 1/3 are taught directly by teachers of Bangor University. General education courses are taught by experienced excellent teachers in China.
