First of all, I took part in a volunteer activity and went to a primary school in a poor mountainous area to teach. The children there are lovely, but the living conditions are very difficult. They don't have classrooms and textbooks like ours, and even basic school supplies are lacking. Seeing the eyes of these children eager for knowledge, I deeply feel the importance of education. During that time, I tried my best to teach them knowledge and help them solve their difficulties in life. This experience made me understand the power of knowledge and let me cherish everything I have.
Secondly, I joined a club during my college years and devoted myself to promoting environmental awareness. We organized various activities, such as garbage sorting publicity, afforestation and so on. Once, we organized a beach cleaning activity, and I cleaned up the garbage on the beach with a group of like-minded friends. Although the weather is very hot, we are all involved, because we know that protecting the environment is of great significance. This activity made me deeply realize the importance of environmental protection, and also made me pay more attention to my living habits.
