Located in Beijing, the Central Conservatory of Music is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is a national "double first-class" construction university and a national "2 1 1 project" construction university. 1949 Tianjin was founded, and 1950 was inaugurated in early summer. 1952 yenching university Music Department was merged in the adjustment of national universities. 1958 moved from Tianjin to Beijing.
