A few days ago, ten college students from the Summer Social Practice Team of Taizhou University, led by the instructor Zhu, went to Zhuanzui Village, Huangzhong County, Xining City, Qinghai Province for a 15-day volunteer activity. On the evening of July 18, the members of the practice team arrived in Xining after 36 hours of train operation. On July 19, it took the teaching team another three hours to reach the teaching site. For the first time in the village, a college student education group was welcomed. Parents and children from Zhuanzui Village and neighboring villages-Hua Le Village and Surgy Village rushed to the village and waited for the teachers at the gate of the village committee early. With the help of the village party secretary, village director and villagers, ten college students transformed two meeting rooms of the village committee into temporary classrooms and three offices of the village committee into temporary dormitories.
According to the local students' situation and age, the teaching group adopts the teaching mode of divided classes, and is equipped with class teachers and teaching assistants for each grade. Although some children live far away, they are very active in class. They come to the teaching place early every day. Huangzhong county is a poverty-stricken county. Zhuanzui Village is a designated poverty alleviation unit of the Organization Department of Qinghai Provincial Party Committee. The infrastructure in the village is relatively perfect, but the conditions such as road traffic and irrigation are relatively backward, especially the lack of water resources.
