Male,/kloc-0 was born in Yibin city, Sichuan province in May, 1957, and/kloc-0 received a doctorate in psychology from South China Normal University in June, 1994. He is currently a professor at the School of Educational Sciences of South China Normal University, a doctoral supervisor of developmental and educational psychology, and a member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Political Consultative Conference. I have long been engaged in the research and teaching of personality and cross-cultural psychology. In recent years, I have paid attention to the exploration of positive psychology such as happy psychology and healthy personality. He has published 22 books and more than 65,438 academic papers, and won six scientific research achievement awards, including the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education and the Outstanding Achievement Award of Social Sciences in provincial universities.

Research interests and research fields
(1) A cross-cultural study of intelligence and cognitive style. Since 1982, I have long studied the particularity and universality of the intellectual development of children of different ethnic groups in China, as well as the relationship with cultural factors. 1992 cooperated with professor Chen to undertake the national natural science fund project "Cross-cultural research on multi-ethnic cognitive activities in China" and published a series of papers in authoritative journals such as Psychological Science, Journal of Psychology, Sociological Research and Ethnic Studies.
(2) Research on personality and mental health education. I attach importance to the discussion of personality theory and emphasize that personality psychology research serves health and educational practice. He presided over the construction of students' mental health and psychological counseling courses, the cultivation of normal students' psychological quality and other key projects of national educational science planning, the theoretical and practical research of college students' mental health education and other major projects of philosophy and social science of the Ministry of Education, and published 2 related works/kloc-0.
(3) Research on cultural integration and psychological adaptation. 1989 cooperated with Professor J.W.Berry of Canada to study the psychological adaptation of China residents in Canada, and 200 1 cooperated with Dr. David Sang of Australia to study the social psychological adaptation of international students in China. Published the paper "Psychological Adaptation of China Expatriates in Canada", International Journal of Psychology, 199 1, 26 (4): 451-470; "Cultural Adaptation and Subjective Well-being of China Overseas Students", Journal of Happiness Research, 1994, (1).
(4) Research on subjective well-being. In 2000, he cooperated with psychologists from 43 countries, including Professor Diener of the United States, to carry out large-scale international cooperative research, that is, cross-cultural research on college students' subjective well-being, and undertook the key project planned by the Ministry of Education, "Subjective well-being of students of different ages and its relationship with personality characteristics", and published 2 academic papers1,among which "Personality, Cognitive and Social Orientation and Subjective Well-being of China Students" was published in the Australian Psychologist magazine./kloc-
