Campus taboo:
Thai people regard their heads as sacred places, so don't touch others' heads casually. Don't point at people and things with your feet, especially the soles of your feet. Don't open and close the door with your feet. Give something to others with your right hand, not your left.
Men and women should not be too intimate in public. If you look closely, you will find that it is rare for Thai men and women to even hold hands in public.
Thais are always smiling and polite to people, and it is hard to see anyone talking loudly or quarreling. Therefore, you should keep your voice down. No matter what happens, don't lose your temper in public.
Thais love cleanliness very much. Spitting and littering are considered to be very ill-bred. Thai people also pay great attention to hygiene and neatness. Therefore, whether going out or staying in a hotel, they should pay attention to hygiene and neatness.
