Tsinghua girl Zhu Ling thallium poisoning case (1994 Tsinghua talented girl Zhu Ling thallium poisoning)
It is often said that the correct three views are more important than anything else. Only by living honestly and honestly can we have a clear conscience. If you don't have the correct three views, you will have unspeakable distortions, so even if you read more books, it is useless. Just like in some top universities, on the surface, he is a master with high IQ, but in fact, he is a murderous demon who has done irreparable things.

I believe everyone still remembers the poisoning case of Lin Senhao of Fudan University on 20 13. This high IQ poisoning case made everyone feel sorry, and two outstanding students paid their lives for it. But do you remember the Zhu Ling poisoning in Tsinghua University? Defendant Lin Senhao once said that it was in the newspaper that he saw that the case was still unsolved, which gave him a direct stimulus and led to the tragedy.

Today, we will talk about this poisoning case in Tsinghua University. A proud girl became a 7-year-old disabled person, and her bright future was destroyed. What is even more outrageous is that the case has not been solved so far, and the suspect moved to the United States to live a happy life.

1973, Zhu Ling was born in a scholarly family in Beijing. His parents (father Wu Chengzhi and mother Zhu Mingxin) are both educated senior intellectuals. They gave birth to two daughters. The eldest daughter's name is Jin Wu. The two sisters have shown extraordinary talent since childhood. Under the guidance of their parents, they are knowledgeable and, in the present words, children of other people's families.

Sister Wu Jin was admitted to Peking University with excellent results and studied in the Biology Department. But God seems to be jealous of this happy family. Wu Jinchun accidentally fell off a cliff while swimming, and her body was found under the cliff three days later. The unexpected death of my sister has dealt a great blow to this happy family, especially Zhu Ling's parents, who have aged a lot overnight, but after all, people can't come back from the dead, so they pinned their hopes on Zhu Ling.

Zhu Ling didn't live up to her family's expectations. She studied piano, guzheng and other musical instruments since childhood and was good at sports. After her sister left, she worked harder. Finally, she was admitted to Tsinghua with 1992, because she is good at musical instruments and is the main force of the school folk band. Because she is good at swimming, she has achieved excellent results in school sports meetings many times and won many awards.

Her delicate face and proud achievements have made her a goddess in the school. Plus, she is lively, cheerful, helpful and gets along well with her classmates. In the teacher's eyes, this diligent girl has a bright future, and Zhu Ling is the only hope in her parents' eyes.

But from June 24th, 1994, 165438+ Zhu Ling became ill. At first, she just had a stomachache and didn't want to eat. She thought she was overworked and wanted to rest for a few days, but things didn't develop in the direction she expected. On February 8th, 65438, Zhu Ling found that she began to lose her hair, and she also felt physical pain. Later, accompanied by his family, he went to Beijing Tongren Hospital for medical treatment. She failed gastroenterology at that time. Because the medical conditions are not very advanced, she did some tests and found nothing wrong.

After a month in hospital, Zhu Ling felt that her condition had eased and her hair had grown back. I thought it was nothing serious, so I applied for discharge on1October 23 1995, and got the consent of the doctor at that time. 1On February 20th, 995, Zhu Ling returned to the campus, but he didn't expect his condition to get worse. Not only did he lose all his hair, but he also suffered from facial paralysis and limb weakness.

On March 6th, 1995, Zhu Ling went to the hospital accompanied by his parents, but the cause was still unknown. On March 9th, Zhu Ling's parents took their daughter to the Union Medical College Hospital for treatment. After consultation with neurologists, Professor Li Shunwei first suggested that Tai's symptoms were similar to those of thallium salt poisoning in Tsinghua before, but he repeatedly said that he had never been exposed to thallium salt, and there would be no thallium salt poisoning, which was hindered by facts.

On March 1995 and 15, Zhu Ling's spontaneous breathing disappeared, and finally the situation deteriorated, with symptoms of central respiratory failure. Union Medical College Hospital adopted tracheotomy, followed by plasma exchange treatment, which was carried out eight times before and after, but it didn't help, because Zhu Ling was infected with hepatitis C due to medical means and physical reasons. On March 26th, Zhu Ling was sent to the intensive care unit, and she could only rely on the ventilator to maintain her basic condition.

Doctors have tested various causes of Zhu Ling's illness, but they still have no clue. Just when everyone was at a loss, Zhu Ling's high school classmates, such as Bei Zhicheng and Cai Quanqing, translated the disease into English, spread it all over the world through the Internet, and sent a distress letter. Nearly 3000 letters were received in a few days, and almost one third of people thought it was a typical thallium poisoning phenomenon.

The doctor of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital clearly pointed out in his reply that "according to her hair loss, gastrointestinal problems, neurological problems and other symptoms, she can almost be diagnosed." When Bei Zhicheng and others told the news to the doctors in the Union Medical College Hospital, because they didn't have a specific test report and doctors couldn't treat it just by guessing, not many people saw this plan, but Zhu Ling's parents believed it. In fact, this is not surprising. There was no other way to believe it. Zhu Ling's parents and classmates began to look for institutions that could identify thallium poisoning.

Thanks to everyone's efforts, I learned that Professor Zhenyang Chen from Beijing Institute of Occupational Disease Prevention and Control could carry out the appraisal, but for various reasons, all this can only be done in secret. Finally, with the help of doctors from Union Medical College Hospital, I got Zhu Ling's urine, cerebrospinal fluid, blood, nails and hair. On April 28th, 1995, people sent these things to Professor Zhenyang Chen, and the test report was issued on the same day, which clearly showed that Zhu Ling was indeed poisoned by thallium, and it was the second time. Zhu Ling's thallium content far exceeded the lethal dose, and he also suggested using Prussian blue for detoxification.

The person who got the appraisal report immediately went to Union Medical College Hospital, and the doctor prescribed the right medicine. On the day of taking it, Zhu Ling's body improved, and then thallium ions in the body were gradually eliminated. All walks of life are different at this time. Some people say it is 10 day, while others say it is 1 month. Fortunately, things have improved. Thallium salt is a slow-onset and highly toxic substance, and its lethal dose is about1g. Zhu Ling of the Department of Chemistry can't be unaware of it. At that time, the school also issued a certificate confirming that Zhu Ling had not been exposed to thallium salt.

After a series of treatments, Zhu Ling's condition improved, but because the toxin stayed in the body for too long, Zhu Ling's nervous system was seriously damaged, and her physical function was also seriously damaged. She was in a coma until1August 3, 19951,but the girl who was once a favored child became a girl who was almost blind, paralyzed, unable to take care of herself and had few parents.

After Zhu Ling was diagnosed with thallium poisoning, Zhu Ling's parents immediately called the police. On May 7th, the Beijing Public Security Bureau officially opened an investigation, and everyone had a question. Meanwhile, in order to seek the truth, Zhu Ling's parents said, "How did such a large dose of rare metal thallium get into my daughter's body? Everything is incredible. " Zhu Ling also made it clear that he had never been exposed to thallium before, so it was very likely that someone deliberately poisoned him, but until now there was no specific conclusion and the police could not convict him.

What's even more outrageous is that just before the police put the case on file, a bizarre theft happened in Zhu Ling dormitory, and Zhu Ling's toiletries were missing, which deepened the police's suspicion. At that time, few people in Beijing had access to thallium salt. After a series of investigations, it was finally determined that there were about 200 people. 20 13 A student in Tsinghua recalled that only seven people in the whole school had access to thallium salt. In addition to two teachers, there are three female graduate students, because the graduate building is far from the dormitory, and there are two undergraduates, one is Mou and the other is a roommate. It can be said that only Sun Wei can enter Zhu Ling.

Her husband, Wang Gan Bough, also concluded that the scope of suspicion was very small. According to the regulations of dormitory management in Tsinghua University, it is inferred that the murderer is someone around her. After a detailed investigation, the police also identified Sun Wei as a suspect. However, two years after the formal filing of the case, the police conducted the first surprise trial on Sun Wei, which may be due to insufficient evidence, so the subsequent investigation could not be carried out.

Until now, the police have not cracked the case, let alone disclosed related matters. 1In March 1997, Zhu Ling's family wrote to the director of the Beijing Public Security Bureau, arguing that all the classes involved in the accident were about to graduate, and it was difficult to obtain a witness card. On April 2, Sun Wei was taken away by the police as a suspect, and signed the name of the suspect on it. After eight hours of trial, the case still failed to progress, and Sun Wei was taken back by his family.

199665438+February, Zhu Ling's family sued Union Medical College Hospital for delaying the best treatment time. On April 2, 1999, Union Medical College Hospital appealed in the first instance, but Zhu Ling's family refused to accept the appeal. On October 26th, 2000/KLOC-0, Peking No.2 Intermediate People's Court finally ruled that Union Medical College Hospital should compensate Zhu Ling for medical losses.

20 13 in may, someone wrote a petition to the white house, which introduced the case process in detail and wrote: "Sun Wei changed her name and surname and entered the United States through marriage fraud. In order to protect the safety of our citizens, we call on the government to investigate and expel our grandchildren. " On July 28th, 20 15, the White House responded by saying that it sympathized with Zhu Ling's experience, but declined to comment on the specific requirements in the petition.

At present, Zhu Ling's parents' greatest hope is that the police can solve the case as soon as possible and give their daughter justice. They have always believed that God can't bully them. Now Zhu Ling still has parents to take care of them, but as time goes by, their health is not good. What should the family do? Anyway, I hope the police can pay attention to it, find new evidence to solve the case as soon as possible, and give justice to the victims!
