1, basic situation
University of international business and economics, Shanghai, located in Shanghai, is one of the first universities built by the Ministry of Education's "Innovative Practice Base for Training High-level Internationalized Talents", the Ministry of Education's "National Heritage Base for Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture in Colleges and Universities", the Asia-Pacific Training Center, the Chairman of WTO and the Doctoral Degree Granting Unit, and has been selected as a demonstration base for employment and entrepreneurship of college graduates in Shanghai.
2. History of running a school
The school, formerly known as Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade, was founded in 1960. 1September 1994, the school was placed under the management of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government by the former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. On April 20 13, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed university of international business and economics.
