Dr. WU GANG, male, was born in June 1976. Now he is an assistant researcher at the Institute of Oil Crops, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. 65438-0999, majoring in microbial genetics, School of Life Sciences, Wuhan University. After graduation, he was admitted to the Institute of Aquatic Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he studied under Academician Zhu for master's and doctor's degrees and engaged in the research of fish molecular biology. In June, 2004, WU GANG was introduced as a talent after receiving his Ph.D., and went to the Institute of Oil Crops of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to engage in genetic engineering and transgenic safety research. He has been engaged in molecular biology research during his master's degree and doctoral degree, and participated in many national natural science foundation projects and national 973 research. The main research directions are the design and construction of transgenic vector system, functional analysis of important development-related genes, separation, purification and detection of growth hormone, expression and purification of important functional proteins in vitro, etc. After working in the Institute of Oilseeds of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences, I participated in the related research of rapeseed fatty acid molecular breeding, including the National Natural Science Foundation (No.3047 1099) "Isolation and sequence comparison of key genes for fatty acid synthesis in oilseeds" and the National Ministry of Science and Technology's "Research and industrialization project of genetically modified oilseeds" (NoJY04-B- 1). CRE-LOXP marker-free vector transformation system was introduced into rapeseed transgenic breeding for the first time in China, and a technical platform for the construction of marker-free rapeseed RNAi vector was established.
