Hefei, referred to as "Lu" or "He", was called Luzhou, Luyang and Hefei in ancient times. It is a prefecture-level city and provincial capital under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province, a sub-central city of China Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration approved by the State Council, an important national scientific research and education base, modern manufacturing base and comprehensive transportation hub, a central city of Hefei metropolitan area, a core city of Wanjiang city belt and a central city of G60 science and technology corridor. By 2020, the city will have four districts and four counties, 1 county-level city, with a total area of1445 square kilometers, a built-up area of 528.5 square kilometers, a permanent population of 9,369,8881,and an urbanization rate of 82.28%. Hefei is an ancient city with a history of more than two thousand years. The ancient stone water (now Nanfeihe River) flows through this place and merges with the ancient stone water (now Dongfeihe River), hence its name. Known as "the hometown of the Three Kingdoms, the hometown of Bao Zheng". Qin is located in Hefei county, which has been the seat of Luzhou government from Sui Dynasty to Ming and Qing Dynasties. Therefore, it is also called "Luzhou" and "Luyang" and has the reputation of "the first county in Jianghuai and the crossroads of Wu Chu".
