Professional background

In order to cultivate high-quality compound professionals to adapt to the new situation, the School of Chemistry of Nankai University and the School of Chemical Engineering of Tianjin University, with the care and support of the Ministry of Education and the support of the close cooperation working group of the two universities, integrated their respective advantages and majors and established the specialty of "Molecular Science and Engineering".

This major enrolls students from all over the country, including 30 students from the School of Chemistry of Nankai University and 30 students from the School of Chemical Engineering of Tianjin University, who are jointly trained and awarded degrees by the two universities upon graduation. The two colleges will carefully formulate talent training plans and teaching plans, select excellent lecturers to teach, provide the best practical teaching conditions, and implement a teaching management model conducive to the cultivation of innovative talents.
