First-year students of Master of Economics and Management attend classes in TEDA College, and some engineering students affiliated to TEDA College attend classes in TEDA College. The second-year students of the Master of Economics and Management will move back to Balitai, the headquarters.

1923 Nankai university economics discipline was established, 193 1 Nankai university school of economics was established. Nankai Economic Discipline is the earliest institution in China University to train economic talents and conduct scientific research, with a hard and glorious history. Adhering to the mode of combining teaching and scientific research, such as "teaching economics according to China's national conditions and promoting teaching through research" and "only through teaching can research have a chance to develop continuously" advocated by Dean He Lian, the College advocates the "China-ization" of economics. Many pioneering and original teaching and scientific research achievements, such as "Investigation of China's Industrialization Development Process" and "Nankai Index", which are well-known at home and abroad, are saturated with the hardships of the founders. Several generations of Nankai economists have made important contributions to the country's economic development and talent training in their respective posts.
