Can college students sign labor contracts?
What college students establish with employers before retaining their student status is not a labor relationship, but a labor relationship. If it meets the characteristics of employment relationship, it can be recognized as employment relationship. According to Article 12 of Opinions on Several Issues Concerning the Implementation of the Labor Law of People's Republic of China (PRC): "Students who work and study in their spare time are not regarded as employment, and labor contracts may not be signed if they have not established labor relations".

In addition, article 14 of the Regulations on Industrial Injury Insurance stipulates that employees who are injured by accidents during working hours and workplaces due to work reasons shall be recognized as industrial injuries.
