I'm from Chongqing University. The new campuses of both schools are in Chongqing University Town, and the Chuanmei Gate is opposite to the north gate of Chongqing University. There is only one road between the two schools. But in the old campus, the two schools will get together far away. The old campus of Chongqing University is in Shapingba District, by the Jialing River. Chuanmei old campus is in Jiulongpo District, near the Yangtze River.

Hotels, I believe there are many near the school, and they are very cheap. There is a university town on the other side of Chuanmei New Campus, which is under development. There are not many hotels. You can live in Shapingba, not far from the university town, and take the bus for 40 minutes.
