Anhui Forestry Vocational and Technical College is a provincial public full-time college. The college is located at the east foot of Dashu Mountain Scenic Area in Hefei, adjacent to the state-level Hefei High-tech Industrial Development Zone, surrounded by mountains and lakes, with beautiful environment. It is a garden-style unit in Anhui Province and an ideal study place.
The college now covers an area of about 400 mu, with a construction area of over 40,000 square meters. There are more than 80,000 books and more than 300 periodicals. The college has modern teaching equipment such as data reading room, periodical reading room, electronic reading room, multimedia classroom and microcomputer room, and 22 professional laboratories such as plant specimen room, garden planning room, painting room, drawing room and computer-aided design room. There is an off-campus practice base for forestry specialty in Washan Forest Farm of Quanjiao County, and there is a comprehensive practice nursery in the school. There are teaching practice points in Anhui Forestry High-tech Demonstration Center, Wanfoshan Forest Park in Shucheng County and Hongcun Village in Yixian County. Approved by the State Forestry Administration and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, our institute has the only skill appraisal station for specific types of work in the forestry industry in Anhui Province. The Provincial Department of Education confirmed our college as a test center for computer proficiency and practical English application ability.
