The scores of DSE subjects are divided into 8 grades, which are 5**, 5*, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and u, and these grades correspond to 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and 0 respectively.

Common elective subjects include the following subjects. Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Liberal Arts: History, China History, Geography, Business: Introduction to Economics, Enterprise Accounting, Finance. DSE candidates do not distinguish between liberal arts students and science students. Generally, which elective course to choose depends on students' abilities and preferences. Students can study a science and a liberal arts at the same time.

Hong Kong DSE course examination results can be applied to all universities in Hong Kong, as well as more than 300 famous schools in the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Japan, etc., and can be selected globally. With the DSE scores, Hong Kong students can also apply for mainland 132 universities (including 985, 2 1 1 and other prestigious schools).

Examination qualification

(1) If the examination year is 65438+1 October1,you should be at least 19 years old.

(2) He has not taken the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, but has completed or is taking a course equivalent to Form VI (equivalent to Form III in the Mainland) before the examination 1 year.

(3) Have taken the Hong Kong Diploma in Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent.
