American University Transfer Process (Undergraduate)
I. Conditions for application for transfer

1. The annual transfer application date of each school is roughly 10, and the specific time is subject to the school notice.

2. Students are generally required to complete 60 credits, and 60 credits that meet the requirements can be transferred.

3. General transfer requires a GPA of at least 3.3, that is, all subjects are above B+.

4. Most schools only accept transfer in autumn, so your application for transfer to American universities in June 5438+ 10 is for transfer in August the next day.

Second, the preparation of application materials

1. Sort out all the materials you need to transfer to an American university, such as a copy of your report card.

2, study your major options, that is, determine the major.

3. The application range is wide, and you can apply for n majors at the same time. The more institutions you apply for, the greater your chances of admission.

4. Choose an email address and contact and communicate with UCB through email until the admission is over.

5. Write your personal statement, no more than 1000 words, and there is not much.

Note: PS is only about 1000 words. You can also write additional comments, up to 500 words, to express that you want UCB to know your redundant information, which may be an important part that you can't express in PS.

6. With regard to scholarships for grants, UCB does not have this policy for international students.

Third, the application process

1, apply online, and the school will give you an application ID number. You should print a copy of this ID and your application summary for your own use.

2. After submitting the application for transfer from an American university, you will receive an email from the university, probably confirming that you have successfully submitted the application. After about 4-5 weeks, you will receive an email from the school confirming your application and asking for the application fee. If you don't receive this message, you should contact the school immediately.

3. Update your academic record. Since your report card is usually submitted before June+10, 5438, and the school admission is in the autumn of the following year, the school requires you to update your report card at any time after submitting your application in June+10, 5438, so as to let them know your academic situation.

4. Generally, the admission results of transfer students should be decided in March-May. You still have work to do after you are admitted: June 1 is the deadline for you to decide which institution you want to go to. July 15 is the last report card in spring before you submit your application for admission in autumn.
