Shandong University, located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). This school is the origin university of modern higher education in China. The main body is Shandong University Hall founded by 190 1, which is the second national university founded by China after Shi Jing University Hall. The school covers an area of more than 8,000 mu (including about 3,000 mu in Qingdao Campus).

Shandong Normal University is located in Jinan City, Shandong Province.
