Hebei Province, referred to as "Ji" for short, is a provincial-level administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC), and its capital, Shijiazhuang, is located between 36 05'-42 40' north latitude and113 27'-19 50' east longitude and surrounded by it. Hebei province has 1 1 prefecture-level cities, * * 49 municipal districts, 2 1 county-level cities, 9 1 county and 6 autonomous counties. By the end of 2022, the resident population of Hebei Province was 74.2 million.
Hebei Province is located in North China, north of Zhanghe River, bordering Bohai Sea in the east, Beijing and Tianjin in the inner ring, Taihang Mountain in the west, Yanshan Mountain in the north, Zhangbei Plateau in the north of Yanshan Mountain, and Hebei Plain in the rest. It is the only province in China with plateaus, mountains, hills, plains, lakes and coasts, with a coastline of 487 kilometers, three world cultural heritages, five national historical and cultural cities and four excellent tourist cities in China. Hebei province is one of the birthplaces of the Chinese nation. During the Warring States period, most of them belonged to Zhao and Yan, so they were also called the land of Yan and Zhao. Located in temperate continental monsoon climate, it is an important grain and cotton producing area in China.
