What are the documents in the library of Tarim University?
The Chinese Library of Tarim University mainly collects books on political theory, philosophy and religion, education, culture, law, economic management, language, mathematics, physics and chemistry; the Chinese Library mainly collects books on literature, art, history and geography; and the Chinese Library mainly collects books on biological science, agricultural science, industrial technology, medicine and environmental science.

Tarim University Library was founded in June 1958. At first, the school library was built on 3000 books donated by teachers. Tarim University Library is located in the picturesque Tarim University in Alar City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The library of Tarim University is a landmark building of Tarim University and an important way for all teachers and students to obtain learning resources.

The library has three departments, namely editorial department, information department and reader service department. The whole library has seven stacks and two reading rooms open to readers, namely Chinese stacks 1-4, folk stacks, foreign stacks, western stacks (featured stacks), newspaper reading rooms and electronic reading rooms.

As of June 5438+February 2009, the total collection has reached about 950,000 volumes. Order about 1500 kinds of Chinese and foreign newspapers and periodicals every year. More than 20 kinds of databases, including the national academic journal full-text database and the national excellent doctoral and master's thesis database, and 6,543.8+0.7 million Chinese e-books were purchased. A total of 12TB local mirror digital resources were built.
