No.34 12 1 Street, Wuhua District, Kunming City. The College of Preparatory Education of Yunnan University for Nationalities is a secondary college under Yunnan University for Nationalities. The College was formerly known as the Preparatory Department of Yunnan University for Nationalities and was founded in 1980. It is the characteristic teaching department of the school, the only teaching unit in Yunnan Province with the characteristic teaching conditions, teaching staff and management system for cultivating minority preparatory students, and the permanent place and leading unit of the preparatory education society of the whole province. In the past 28 years, the College of Preparatory Education of Yunnan University for Nationalities has followed the party's ethnic policy, concentrated on teaching conditions, teachers and management advantages, and started with basic education, striving to improve the overall quality of minority preparatory students. More than 7,000 qualified frontier minority students have been sent to universities inside and outside the province, and many of them have obtained master's and doctoral degrees after graduation.
