Generally speaking, there are many foreign trade documents, especially under the method of letter of credit settlement, all documents required by the letter of credit must be complete, each document must meet the requirements of the letter of credit, and the contents of each document must not conflict.
The documents required by general letters of credit mainly include invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, drafts, certificates of origin, inspection certificates, etc.
If it is CIF, there must also be an insurance policy, and the bill of lading should show "freight prepaid" (FOB bill of lading should show "to pay the freight".
Documentary conformity means that all documents must conform to the letter of credit. The quantity, amount, name and model of the goods required in the letter of credit, and then the quantity, amount, name and model of the goods on your invoice, bill of lading, packing list, draft, etc. Must be completely consistent with each other, there can be no contradiction. (Some quantities and amounts allow +/-5%, so they cannot exceed the upper and lower limits. The date of shipment on the bill of lading must be before the date of shipment required by the letter of credit. There is also the delivery date, which is the time limit for you to send all the documents to the designated bank. Generally, the delivery date is 15 days after the date of bill of lading, which must also be observed.
All the above inconsistencies should be corrected before submitting the documents.
Of course, under normal circumstances, I'm afraid more than 60% of the documents can't be consistent with the documents. In this case, it is generally a familiar customer, as long as the customer agrees to accept it in writing, but the original role of LC as a "bank credit" has disappeared and it has become a "commercial credit". Pay special attention to this when you are a new customer. In any case, as long as the bill of lading (which must be 3/3 original) is in the bank document and the customer does not pay the ransom note, he can't pick up the goods, and the goods right is still in your hand.
So, you go to a foreign trade company, find a copy of LC, and then find other relevant documents to copy, so that you can easily understand and hand in the task. Good luck!
