Donghua Institute of Technology, founded in 1956, is a multidisciplinary university with geoscience and nuclear science characteristics jointly established by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, Ministry of Natural Resources and China National Nuclear Corporation.
The school has two campuses, Nanchang and Fuzhou, with a total campus area of more than 2,500 mu. At present, there are more than 20 teaching units, including College of Earth Sciences, College of Geophysics and Measurement and Control Technology, College of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering and College of Surveying and Mapping Engineering.
