What is the difference between ordinary undergraduate approval and advance approval?
1, the enrollment institutions are different.

There are seven types of colleges and universities that enroll students in advance:

(1) Military academies and cadets with no military status: National University of Defense Technology, PLA Electronic Engineering College, etc.

(2) Public security, political science and law colleges or corresponding majors: China Criminal Police College, People's Police University of China, etc. ;

(3) Maritime institutions: Dalian Maritime University, Shanghai Maritime University, etc. ;

(4) Normal universities: six normal universities directly under the Ministry of Education, including Huazhong Normal University and Beijing Normal University (recruiting normal students at public expense);

(5) Sports: Beijing Sport University, Shanghai Institute of Sport, etc.

(6) Art: Central Academy of Drama, China Academy of Art, etc.

(7) Other characteristic institutions: Foreign Affairs University, Beijing Institute of Electronic Technology, Shanghai Customs College, etc.

2. The main differences of enrollment.

The majors that enroll students in advance are special, and some majors are different from ordinary batch enrollment in terms of employment:

(1) Public-funded normal students: adopt special policies to recruit students. During the study period, the state will waive tuition fees, miscellaneous fees, accommodation fees and other expenses. Students need to sign an agreement before going to school, and they need to engage in education in the corresponding fields according to the agreement after graduation.

(2) Orientation students: including medical orientation students and educational orientation students. Students enrolled in this type of enrollment will be admitted to the corresponding units in the targeted areas after graduation.

(3) Enrollment of special institutions: For example, the Foreign Affairs University, Beijing Institute of Electronic Technology and other institutions, graduates are usually sent to the relevant departments of the national government.

(4) Enrollment of special classes: Basic classes and experimental classes set up by some excellent universities are mainly for receiving students with excellent grades.

(5) Enrollment of special majors: such as navigation technology and marine engineering of Dalian Maritime University.

3. Different registration requirements

Enrollment in advance usually has different requirements for candidates' physical condition and comprehensive quality: for example, the navigation technology major of Dalian Maritime University has requirements for physical quality, is colorless and weak color blind, and is 1.65 meters tall, and the future work nature is special, so it is not suitable for girls to apply for the exam; Public security colleges generally conduct physical examinations on candidates, and they need to achieve certain results before they can be admitted.

4. The admission time is different.

The time for undergraduate admission in advance is the earliest. Generally speaking, it starts about half a month after the results of the college entrance examination are announced, and the general approval is a little late.

Summary: In short, advance approval is mainly the enrollment of some special types of colleges and universities and the enrollment of some special majors in ordinary colleges and universities. According to the different enrollment institutions and majors, there are differences in employment, expenses and physical requirements between early enrollment and ordinary batch enrollment. Moreover, because of the special enrollment major, the scores approved in advance are generally higher.
