The first phase of the project has a building area of 240,000 square meters, which was started in March 2006 and completed in August 2007, and can accommodate about 1 10,000 undergraduates. The second phase of the project has a building area of 236,000 square meters. It was started in 2008 and completed in 2065, with a total area of 438+00, which can accommodate nearly 24,000 undergraduates. The Historical Evolution of Sichuan Normal University

Sichuan Normal University, founded in 1946, has a direct historical relationship with Northeastern University. In the early days of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Northeastern University moved to Santai County, Sichuan Province. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Northeastern University moved back to Shenyang, where teachers and students from Liuchuan founded the North Sichuan College of Agriculture and Industry.
