Sichuan Normal University has three campuses.

They are Lion Mountain Campus, Jackie Chan Campus and East Campus. The address of Shizishan Campus is No.5 Jing 'an Road, Jinjiang District, Chengdu. The address of Jackie Chan Campus is No.2, Jackie Chan Avenue, Longquanyi District, Chengdu 18 19; The address of the East Campus is No.351Honghe Middle Road, Waidong, Chengdu.

By 2020, there will be three campuses: Lion Mountain Campus, Jackie Chan Campus and East Campus.

Lion Mountain Campus: No.5 Jing 'an Road, Jinjiang District, Chengdu, which is the school headquarters.

Jackie Chan Campus: No.2, Jackie Chan Avenue, Longquanyi District, Chengdu 18 19. Jackie Chan Campus will be built in three phases. The first phase of the project has a building area of 240,000 square meters, which was started in March 2006 and completed in August 2007, and can accommodate about 1 10,000 undergraduates. The second phase of the project has a building area of 236,000 square meters. It was started in 2008 and completed in 2065, with a total area of 438+00, which can accommodate nearly 24,000 undergraduates. The third phase of the project will be implemented after 20 10 according to the development process and actual needs of school education.

East Campus: Honghe District, Damian Street, Longquanyi District. In 2000, in order to meet the needs of the development strategy of higher education, Sichuan Normal University built the East Campus of Sichuan Normal University in Honghe District, Damian Street, Longquanyi District, about 3 kilometers away from the Lion Mountain Campus (headquarters), and officially put it into use on September 5, 2003.

The Historical Evolution of Sichuan Normal University

Sichuan Normal University, founded in 1946, has a direct historical relationship with Northeastern University. In the early days of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Northeastern University moved to Santai County, Sichuan Province. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Northeastern University moved back to Shenyang, where teachers and students from Liuchuan founded the North Sichuan College of Agriculture and Industry.

1949, Xishan College was absorbed and renamed as North Sichuan University;

1950 merged with North Sichuan College of Literature and moved to Nanchong City, Sichuan Province.

1952 Sichuan Normal University was established with North Sichuan University as the main body, and some majors of East Sichuan Institute of Education (Rural Construction College), Sichuan University and West China University were merged.

1985, approved by the State Education Commission, was renamed Sichuan Normal University.

Sichuan Normal University is a key university in Sichuan Province, and it is also the first batch of universities in China to implement the "Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in the Midwest".
