Shantou University is a comprehensive university under the "2 1 1 project" approved by the State Council in1. Shantou University, referred to as "Shantou University", is located in Shantou City, Guangdong Province. 198 1 was established with the approval of the State Council, and was one of the "211projects" comprehensive universities in Guangdong during the Ninth Five-Year Plan and the Tenth Five-Year Plan.
