Emotion and disease
How to understand this "psychological balance" that affects half of the longevity? How can we do it!

First of all, "stress hormones" can damage the body.

Psychological research has found that when a person is furious, his body will produce enough stress hormones to kill mice. Therefore, "stress hormone" is also called "toxic hormone".

Huangdi Neijing also said: "All diseases are born of qi. Anger leads to qi stagnation, happiness leads to qi stagnation, sadness leads to qi stagnation, shock leads to qi disorder, and fatigue leads to gas consumption ... "Therefore, the" heart "should be treated first.

Modern medicine has found that 65%-90% of human diseases are related to psychological depression, such as cancer, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, peptic ulcer and irregular menstruation. Therefore, this disease is called psychosomatic disease.

If people are restless, angry and nervous all day, the level of stress hormones will remain high for a long time, the immune system will be suppressed and destroyed, and the cardiovascular system will become particularly fragile because of long-term overwork.

When people are happy, the brain will secrete "beneficial sex hormones" such as dopamine. Hormones can relax people's emotions and produce pleasure. This good state of physical and mental comfort can coordinate and balance various functions of the human body and promote health.

Sun Simiao looked through the medical books of the previous generation, and it was difficult to find the rich prescriptions and thick simplified books. According to his research and practice in medicine and pharmacy, he compiled Qian Jin Fang, "thinking that life is the most important thing, having a precious daughter, one side can help more than that." (preface to a thousand women) is a simple and practical book, which can be used for emergency, so it is called "a thousand women's emergency". This book covers the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, health care and other aspects, especially the treatment of gynecological and pediatric diseases, so gynecological prescriptions and pediatric prescriptions are listed at the top of the book. Summing up his experience in his later years, he wrote 30 volumes of Fang Yi, which was a supplement to Qian Jin Fang Yao, and included more than 800 kinds of drugs used at that time, which not only described the collection and processing of more than 200 kinds of drugs in detail, but also supplemented many treatment methods. Sun Simiao believes that food plays an important role in preserving health and curing diseases. He specifically listed the "dietotherapy" in Qian Jin Fang, and introduced the dietotherapy function of cereals, meat, fruits and vegetables in detail. And pay attention to food hygiene, such as advocating "eat less" ("thousands of dollars are important? "Nourish nature"), that is, eat more and eat less, "chew slowly", don't eat stale things, rinse your mouth after eating, "stop eating, take hundreds of steps" ("take the pillow from China"), and so on. He believes that doctors should first understand the source of diseases, "know what diseases they have committed, treat them with food, and order drugs if the diet fails to heal." ("Give the party 1000 yuan?" He said, "If medicine and food are attacked, then the disease should not escape." ("Thousands of women spread their wings? Nourishing Nature also advocates the combination of medicine and acupuncture to treat diseases. The so-called "decoction attack, acupuncture attack outside" ("daughter Fang Yi? Acupuncture), this is the first sound of advocating comprehensive treatment in medicine. Of course, it should also be pointed out that these books also contain some dross of superstition of ghosts and gods, which is the limitation of Sun Simiao's religious worldview as a Taoist.

There are about 20 Taoist Tibetan medical books in the Ming Dynasty, such as Huangdi Neijing, Eighty-one Difficult Classics, The Elbow Queen and Qian Jin Fang, etc., but there are also some Taoist medical books, such as Zhang Sanfeng's Biography of Immortals, Zhao's Collection of Immortals, Shao Zhenren's Qingnang Miscellany and Secret Immortals, etc. In short, Taoism attaches importance to medicine, although its starting point is to seek longevity in religion, but its content contains many scientific and valuable things, which deserve attention and excavation.

I Taoism and medicine

In order to achieve the goal of immortality, Taoism should first treat diseases and prolong life, and the role of medicine is also to treat diseases, prevent diseases and prolong life. Therefore, medicine has become one of the important methods to practice the immortal way. Anyone who learns Taoism and seeks immortality must know medical skill, which has become a compulsory course for knowledgeable Taoists. Taoism divides medicines into upper, middle and lower classes, and thinks that top-grade medicines can make people live forever. "Hold PiaoZi? He said to the common saying: "I know that medicine can prolong life, so I use it to seek longevity." "Chinese medicine can preserve health and prolong life, and inferior medicine can cure diseases. The top-grade medicine is Taoist elixir. Ge Hong said that Jiuding elixir can become immortal, like a cloud, "Nine turns to elixir, and one day after taking it, it becomes immortal." "Returning to Dan" is one of fesr, that is, ascending to heaven during the day. " ("Bao Puzi? However, this elixir can't stand the test of practice. In history, many people who longed to become immortals ate the elixir. Instead of becoming immortals, they died of poisoning. Instead of prolonging their lives, they lived short. Therefore, the ancient poem says, "Eating for longevity is mostly caused by medicine". There are many cases of Dan's death in history. The emperors of the Tang Dynasty, such as Xianzong, Mu Zong, Wuzong and Xuanzong, were all poisoned by Dan medicine. (1) In the Five Dynasties, Li Bian, a martyr in the Southern Tang Dynasty, asked Shi Shouchong, a Taoist priest, to refine the stone into Dan. Li bian was poisoned by the elixir. When he died, he said to his son, King Li Jing of Qi, "I ate stones to prolong my life and want to die quickly. You should take a warning." ("Southern Tang Book"? Since the Song Dynasty, the trend of refining external medicine for longevity has gradually declined. Before the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Taoist priests had been pursuing the elixir of life and always tried their best to find the "medicine" of immortality. In fact, there is no such "medicine", so they have to settle for the second best and look for Chinese medicine and drugs that can prolong life, cure diseases and preserve health. In order to get food, you must know medicine, so Taoists like Ge Hong, Tao Hongjing and Sun Simiao are all famous physicians.

Shennong Herbal Classic is a summary of drug knowledge since the Warring States Period, Qin and Han Dynasties. This book has obvious colors of alchemist and fairy road. It divides drugs into three categories: upper, middle and lower. Top-grade drugs 120 kinds, which can lighten the body, replenish qi and prolong life if taken for a long time. There are 120 kinds of Chinese medicines, which can resist diseases and tonify deficiency. Inferior drugs 125, can dispel cold and heat, and break accumulation. Ge Hong quoted the Four Classics of Shennong as saying: "Taking medicine can prolong life, promote a person to become a god, travel up and down, serve all souls, give birth to feathers and stand in the kitchen. ..... Chinese medicine nourishes (eats raw) and cures diseases. " ("Bao Puzi?" Fairy medicine) shows that medicine is the pursuit of seeking immortality. Most of these medicines were handed down by alchemists in the Warring States, Qin and Han Dynasties, and many of them said that "immortality" and "immortality" were proof. In Hanshu? In the Records of Literature and Art, four books, Medical Classic, Classic Prescription and Fairy in the Room, are juxtaposed, which shows the blending of ancient superstition and science. Among the top-grade drugs, cinnabar was regarded as an elixir by alchemists in previous dynasties. Ge Hong said: "The one above the fairy medicine is cinnabar." ("Bao Puzi? "Fairy Medicine") "Cinnabar is burned into mercury and turned into cinnabar after accumulation, which is far away from all vegetation, so it can make people live forever." ("Bao Puzi? Ge Hong did this experiment in The Alchemist. He dissociated cinnabar (HgS) by heating, mercury reacted with sulfur, and then heated and sublimated, resulting in cinnabar. Taoist priests don't understand chemical reactions and regard them as mysterious. Many people die of poisoning. Li Shizhen criticized: "Mercury, even the essence of yin, is naturally calm. If you get exercise with fire, you will soar and change your mind. Smoke it out with popularity, and you will get into the bone and drill the tendons. You will never eat your brain with yang. There's nothing better. ..... "Bao Puzi" thinks that the medicine of immortality. Under the Six Dynasties, I don't know how many insatiable people took food, became useless and lost their limbs. The alchemist is ignorant, and the materia medica is ridiculous! " (Compendium of Materia Medica, Volume 9, Mercury Column)

Ge Hong (283-363) was born in Jurong, Danyang. His Comprehensive Medical Skills (Book of Jin) is a famous physician. Ge Hong's medical works include Yuhanfang 100, Jifang after Elbow-4, Prescription for Immortal Eating 10 and Wufa Jiufang 1 0. He was annoyed with the prescription, so he selected and compiled it into 100 volume Fang Yuhan. In addition, the convenient experience side was compiled as the "elbow-back first aid side", which is used for first aid, easy to carry and can be hung behind the elbow, so it is also called "elbow-back first aid side" for short. Including infectious diseases, chronic diseases, surgery, ophthalmology, pediatrics and veterinarians. The origin, symptoms and treatment of various diseases are described. For example, the record of smallpox epidemic and tuberculosis is the earliest record in the history of world medicine. It also puts forward the method of treating rabies by applying rabies brain to the wound, and proves that rabies brain contains anti-rabies virus substances later. After the Elbow was supplemented by Tao Hongjing as Hundred Faces after the Elbow. "There were four people who took Buddhist books, and one of them had the name of 101 diseases" (Record of Xie Zhizhai). Later, in the Jin Dynasty, Yong Yang supplemented the prescription attached to Tang Shenwei's "Zheng Ben Cao" and named it "An Emergency Prescription with Wide Elbow", which shows that this book has been valued by doctors in past dynasties.

Tao Hongjing (456-536) was born in Moling, Danyang (Nanjing, Jiangsu). Hongjing is a famous Taoist scholar in the Southern Dynasties, with profound knowledge. Historically called "herbs". (Biography of Liang Shu) His medical works include Notes on Materia Medica, supplemented by Ge Hong's A Hundred Prescriptions Behind the Elbow, General Prescription of Medicine, Effective Prescription, Ju Jin Dan Huang Bai Prescription, Selection of Herbs and Plants, and Fang Ling's Secret Recipe.

As mentioned above, an ancient pharmacopoeia "Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing" compiled by the Han Dynasty contains 365 kinds of drugs, which are divided into three categories: upper, middle and lower. This classification is influenced by alchemists, and it is obviously unscientific to think that top-grade drugs can become immortals. Materia Medica has been copied continuously since the Han, Wei and Jin dynasties, with incomplete meanings and mixed grades, which is very chaotic. Tao Hongjing is well versed in pharmacology, and his contributions to materia medica are as follows: (1) sorting out Shennong Materia Medica, and Tao Hongjing changed the method of classifying drugs according to upper, middle and lower categories in Notes on Materia Medica. According to the different types of drugs, he divided them into seven categories: jade, vegetation, insects and beasts, rice, fruit, vegetables and unused names, which is obviously more scientific and more than the three-point method. The classification of Newly Revised Materia Medica in Tang Dynasty and Compendium of Materia Medica by Li Shizhen in Ming Dynasty was improved on this basis. (2) According to the experience of many famous doctors in using drugs for hundreds of years since the Han, Wei and Jin Dynasties, 365 kinds of drugs were added to Shennong Materia Medica, which was named Bielu of Famous Doctors, and the number of drugs in Materia Medica developed to 730. (3) Explain the performance, shape, characteristics and origin of the drug. If a drug has multiple functions, it is based on its main functions. Chinese medicine is divided into monarch, minister and assistant. However, in Shennong Materia Medica, the top grade is the monarch, the middle grade is the minister, and the lower grade is the supplement. This division of machinery is obviously influenced by alchemists. Tao Hongjing takes drugs as the main indication to confirm its performance. For example, the drugs for treating jaundice include Artemisia capillaris and Gardenia, and the drugs for expelling wind include Saposhnikovia divaricata, Radix Stephaniae Tetrandrae and Radix Angelicae Pubescentis. This is an important development of materia medica. (4) In the compatibility and use of drugs, the main drug is the monarch, and the auxiliary drug is the minister's assistant. According to people's age, gender, physical deficiency and excess, as well as different living habits and environments in different places, the treatment based on syndrome differentiation has developed Materialism.

Sun Simiao (58 1-682) was a famous doctor in Sui and Tang Dynasties. Hiding in Taibai Mountain, learning Tao and refining qi, and being good at medicine. He is the author of 30 volumes of "Emergency Thousand Gold Recipes" and 30 volumes of "Golden Wings".

So, what should be done in life to secrete more happy "beneficial hormones" and reduce "stress hormones"?

1

Set a goal and think hard.

New research shows that "a strong sense of purpose" is good for health. Because there is no pursuit in life, it determines a person's mentality, and then determines his physical condition.

The cerebral vessels of people who are diligent in thinking are in a state of stretching. Therefore, regular use of the brain can promote the metabolism of the brain and delay aging.

After retirement, middle-aged and elderly friends can go to the university for the aged to study calligraphy, dancing, singing and drawing, so as to keep their brains active.

2

Helping others is beneficial.

The researchers found that giving others "material" help can reduce the mortality rate by 42%; Giving moral support to others can reduce the death rate by 30%.

Because being kind to others and often doing good deeds will produce an unspeakable sense of happiness and pride, which will further reduce the level of stress hormones and promote the secretion of "beneficial hormones."

Psychiatric epidemiologists even say that forming the habit of helping others is a good way to prevent and treat depression.

three

Family harmony is the secret of longevity.

After 20 years of research and accumulation, two American psychology professors found that "interpersonal relationship" ranks first among the decisive factors affecting life span. They say that interpersonal relationships may be more important than fruits and vegetables, regular exercise and regular physical examination.

Interpersonal relationships include not only relationships with friends, but also relationships with family members. Therefore, family harmony and living in harmony with friends are one of the secrets of longevity!

four

Give kindness and you will get it.

When we smile at others, others will greet us with a smile. Whether you are with friends or chatting with old classmates on WeChat, remember to keep smiling and friendly.

This kind of friendliness includes: praise, humor, smile, respect, comity, easygoing, tolerance, forgiveness, understanding, sympathy, loyalty, listening and so on. Only in this way can we reap the friendliness of others and feel better!

Second, being in a bad mood can lead to liver disease.

Someone has done such an experiment: after the animal's liver is removed, the portal vein that should have entered the liver is directly connected with the abdominal aorta, the heart immediately expands, venous blood accumulates, and the animal dies soon. This shows the importance of the liver in regulating blood circulation.

Harmony is what people have been pursuing. A harmonious society, not only everyone is happy, warm and harmonious everywhere, but also people's quality of life and work efficiency will be greatly improved, and social order will be stable and coordinated. In the historical alternation of China for thousands of years, harmony is not only the way of behavior and governance of our ancestors, but also a political ideal that has lasted for thousands of years. Harmony is also the humanistic theme of the Chinese nation. Good weather, geographical location, harmony between people, family and everything ... all reflect the common dream of China people since ancient times. A peaceful, stable and harmonious environment is the basis of the progress of human society, and it is also a necessary condition for human activities and life. Without harmony, society cannot develop and individuals cannot be happy.

Now the development of China is in the golden period, but it is also a period of prominent contradictions. To achieve sustained and stable development, we must be good at resolving contradictions and building a harmonious environment. Development is the last word, and harmony is the last word behind it. As a social system engineering, building a harmonious society requires the widest social mobilization, with good people's hearts, harmonious thoughts, open and wise opinions, multi-party mobilization and multi-party efforts. A major event worth doing is to explore the cultural connotation of "harmony" from China's rich traditional cultural resources, so as to make the past serve the present. Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism are the three pillars of China culture. They all advocate harmony, but their connotations are different. Confucianism attaches great importance to social order, advocates harmony without uniformity, and pursues the ideal harmonious realm on the premise of "non-scarcity", "non-disorder" and "non-uniformity", with "pluralistic harmony" as the goal. Buddhism attaches great importance to the relationship between religion and society, emphasizing the principles of "six respects", such as cohabitation, speaking without hesitation, harmony and joy, abstinence and fellow practitioners, enlightenment and understanding, interests and equality. Taoism, which was born and raised in China, pays attention to the all-round and harmonious development of heaven, earth and people, takes "Tao" as the highest belief, and advocates people to believe in Taoism, cultivate Buddhism and do things in an inclusive, natural, peaceful, selfless, passive and indisputable environment. It can be seen that the sum of Taoism is not only the most complete, but also the closest to people and the most human.

When you are unhappy, angry and depressed, it will also affect the release of the liver, leading to stagnation of qi and blood in the liver and liver meridian.

Third, if you are not angry, you will not get sick.

Emotion is human instinct, but in a competitive living environment, people's mental stress will naturally increase, so all kinds of negative emotions will often affect people's health.

"Like many people, you complain everywhere and see everything pleasing to the eye. How the country is like this, how the society is like this, and how the unit is like this. When I got home, I complained, how did this happen in my house? Complaining is a negative emotion. "

"Now, according to the statistics of the World Health Organization, more than 90% of diseases are related to emotions. Hey, as long as you control your emotions, you can get sick, get sick seriously, get sick less, and get sick late. "

Fourth, the heart should be quiet and the body should move.

Nourishing the heart, meditating, nourishing the heart, and regulating consciousness and mood are common sense of health care, but unfortunately they are not paid attention to by everyone, so there will be "incurable stomach disease" and "pharyngitis for a lifetime".

Peace of mind means physical safety, physical safety means physical health, and peace of mind means less illness. Kinetic energy generates yang, and yang is vigorous and accessible, so qi and blood are smooth, muscles are plump and bones and muscles are strong.

Generally speaking, the essentials of qi circulation are as follows:

(1) Inhale and exhale. "Getting rid of the old and absorbing the new" means spitting out carbon gas and absorbing fresh oxygen. Nash took a deep breath into his abdomen, and then slowly spit out the waste gas. There are six ways to exhale: blow, shout, hey, oh, shh, shh. "Health Record" said: "Where the air flows through the nose (is received), it is called a long breath." Breathing should be thin, long, deep and even. Inhale slowly and subtly, and you can't hear the sound. Ge Hong said, a feather is on the nose, and a feather does not move. Deep means inhaling deeply into the abdomen below the navel. It means to breathe symmetrically. Subtle, slow, deep and symmetrical, this is what Taoism calls "continuity".

(2) Exercise in the forest and fresh air in the morning. The ancients said: "it is angry from midnight to noon." ("Health Record"? Sima Chengzhen said: "All guidance should be based on ugliness. When the weather is fine." (Guiding Theory)

(3) Air-guiding circulation is the combination of physical exercise, dry bath, massage and qigong, both inside and outside. According to the Guide to Classics, knocking one's teeth and closing one's eyes, holding steady, adjusting one's breath and guiding one's righteousness are internal and external combined efforts.

You should go on a diet and don't eat too much. "Nourishing and prolonging life" said: "The method of promoting qi is to eat less, control the body and be kind."

(5) Pay attention to mental activities when practicing Qi, and combine pranayama with mental training (ideas). Taoism calls conceptual activities "thinking", "thinking" and "spirit". (1) "Lao Jun saves thoughts" says: "Thinking is the foundation of learning, thinking is the first." (Quoted from cloud seven signs forty-three) Keeping thinking is also called concentration, and God will hold his breath. The yogi requires himself to maintain the abdomen or a certain realm, which is also called "keeping one" in Taoist books. "Hold PiaoZi? Truth says, "When you are hungry, you need food. "When Taoism was mystified, there was a saying called' thinking about the mysterious and keeping the gods'. In fact, it is to make the spirit single-minded and focused. Taoism regards ears as essence, eyes as spirit and mouth as qi. Spastic trembling hurts the spirit; It hurts to shake your eyes; Shaking evil thoughts will damage the essence. So Zhuangzi said, "Don't shake your essence, and you will live forever". ("Reconsideration") If you are single-minded, you will not hear its voice and keep its essence; If you don't talk, you can hold your breath; You can protect your god if you don't look. Keep a calm mind. When you are calm, you will rest. When you rest, you will get together. When you get together, you will get together, and life will return to the basics. Therefore, the key point of "keeping thinking" is to eliminate distractions, close your eyes and look inward. The so-called "wisdom and calmness, except desire and purity". ("Lao Jun Cun Si Tu") "The Immortal Exhausted the Valley to Eat Qi Jing" says: "All qi is sad without anger. If you are angry and worried, you will be angry; Qi disorder is the opposite. Thinking about one, then righteousness comes; When righteousness comes, it is sweet in the mouth; When the mouth is sweet, the body fluid is abundant and the nasal breathing is slightly longer; The nasal breathing is slightly longer, and the five internal organs are safe; When the five internal organs are safe, the qi will be smooth. If the law is done, you will live a long life. "Therefore, Qigong should be mentally relaxed and happy, calm, eliminate all troubles and distractions, and always maintain a peaceful attitude, so that you can persistently practice Qigong and live a long and healthy life." "Jing Ke Jing Ke" says: "People and gods are so clear, but their hearts disturb them; The human heart is quiet, but it should be guided. If they can keep sending out desires, their hearts will be quiet. Clear heart and mind. "So, if you want less, you will be calm and your mind will be calm and clear. Therefore, abstinence is the premise of qigong.

To sum up, it can be said that Qi-guiding is a set of health-care and fitness techniques integrating Qigong, health massage, aerobics and martial arts exercise. If you can exercise for a long time, you can undoubtedly strengthen your body, prevent and treat diseases, and even prolong your life. But Taoism believes that you can live forever, which is obviously a fake birth. Wang Chong in Han Dynasty criticized Taoism's fantasy that guiding qi and nourishing nature can lead to immortality. (See "On Balance?" Ge Hong believes that the guidance of qi can "make internal diseases unbearable and rheumatism not committed" and "prolong life and not become immortal." ("Bao Puzi? Paying attention to psychological activities is a kind of mental health care method, which closely combines human psychology and physiology, indicating that the ancients had a deep understanding of the relationship between human psychology and physiology in long-term practical experience.

(4) The room in the room is the knowledge of male and female physiology and sexual medicine in ancient medicine. Hanshu? Yi's skill is a bit like a cloud: "The people in the room have great temperament, when they are enlightened. It is based on the holy king's control of external music to ban internal information and save words. Chuan said,' My late king enjoyed himself, so he saved everything. If you are happy and have a festival, you will live a peaceful life, care about fans, and die. "This passage summarizes the essence of ancient sexual intercourse, indicating that the combination of men and women is the ultimate temperament, and it should be' joy and restraint'. If you don't control yourself, indulging in debauchery will hurt your life. Taoism has absorbed. In Taoist books, rooms are also called "harmony" or "harmony between men and women". In the early Taoist classic Taiping Jing, there was "the art of rejuvenating the country and expanding the descendants". Taoist believers in Shi Tian all have wives and children, so Taoism believes that house is a cultivation method for nourishing essence, preserving health and curing diseases. Therefore, Huang Tingjing said: "Immortality means being careful in the room, abandoning the donation of lust and maintaining the essence. "According to the Taoist theory,' everything is negative and holds Yang', and the coordination of Yin and Yang is in line with the way of nature. The way of heaven and earth is the combination of yin and yang, and the combination of yin and yang creates everything. Therefore, the Xuannv Jing says, "One yin and one yang must be in harmony" and "Bao Puzi" says, "If people don't communicate with each other, they won't get sick" (Wei Zhi). He also said: "If Yin and Yang don't match, you will get sick, so you will be claustrophobic and resentful, and you won't live long if you are sick. If you are willful, you will die "("Release Stagnation "). The Record of Raising Sex and Prolonging Life records: "A man cannot be without a woman, and a woman cannot be without a man. If you are lonely, thinking about handover will damage your life and make you sick. "This shows that men and women live in harmony. Solitary yin is not born, solitary yang is not long, yin and yang do not meet, and excessive sexual intercourse will lead to disease. So Ge Hong said, "People can't just sit still and get sick. If it is indulgence and can't be frugal, then kill yourself "("Bao Puzi? Micro-purpose "). The main points of sexual intercourse are: (1) Pay attention to moderation but not indulgence. Ge Hong said, "You can quit without losing the sum" ("Bao Puzi? Release stagnation "); (2) Sexual life after drinking or overworking is forbidden. " Su Wen? Jue said: "This person will be drunk, and if he is full, he will enter the room." . Bing Wang wrote: "If you are drunk, you will lose essence, and if you are deficient in middle qi, you will enter heat. This is due to renal failure." . "Health Record" also said: "If you are drunk enough and come back from a long trip, you are too tired to do anything in your room. Be careful if you are sick. " Ge Hong said: "Yin He's medical skills are very high in treating minor illnesses, and waste can be avoided every time." ("Bao Puzi? As for Taoism, it is believed that the method in the room can "benefit the world in suction yin", "nourish the brain" and "prolong life", and can cure all diseases (see Bao Puzi? "Release stagnation"), which is obviously an inappropriate exaggeration.

In the room, feeding, air circulation, etc. It's all Taoist health preserving techniques. However, "Su Xuan, who is good at doing things, from each according to his ability and knows art, can only spend the world in the art room;" People who know how to breathe and breathe clearly say that only qi can prolong life; People who know how to bend and stretch say that only with guidance can we not get old easily; People who know the formula of vegetation say that only drug bait can be infinite; Learning Tao failed because it was too dry. " ("Bao Puzi? Ge Hong said that these shallow people always emphasize what they know and think that they can become immortals, which is actually a one-sided theory. Essence, qi and spirit are the three elements of human life, so the cultivation of Taoism is to love essence, protect qi and focus. The purpose of the room is to love essence, guide qi, protect qi, and take comprehensive bait, which can not only cure diseases, but also solidify essence, protect qi and concentrate. "Hold PiaoZi? Miscellaneous Answer said: "People who do their best to keep fit not only take medicine, but also publicize Wei Rong day and night, so that they have to worship, practice at home, control their diet, avoid rheumatism and be invincible, so that they can get sick." Ge Hong believes that the human body is an organism, and all aspects are closely related and inseparable. For example, to govern a country, we must cooperate with each other in "civil and military etiquette" and we must not neglect anything. Just like music, it must be matched with five tones to form a tune. The same is true for health care. It is necessary to combine the techniques of taking medicine bait, guiding qi movement and indoors to achieve the effects of preventing and treating diseases, strengthening the body and prolonging life.

Taoism has a lot of valuable experience and knowledge in health preservation. For example, Feng Junda, a Taoist priest of Qingniu, said: "Physical desires are often overworked and food intake is often small. There is neither extreme nor shortage in labor (hunger leader). Get rid of fat, salty and sour, think less, lose your feelings, rush and be cautious. " Zhang Zhan's Book of Health Preservation says: "The essence of health preservation is: first, to protect the spirit, second, to protect the body, third, to guide, fifth, to talk, sixth, to eat and drink, seventh, to be anti-vulgar, ninth, to take medicine, and tenth, to be taboo." Yuan Lefan talked about the way to concentrate on health preservation: "First, you have little desire, second, you are frugal, third, you are angry, fourth, you are sober, and fifth, you are cautious (referring to light taste-introducer). ("Three Essentials of Health Care") The above is a summary of health care experience, which is quite valuable. Taoism's theory of immortality is of course illusory, but taking food contains a lot of knowledge of medicine and dietotherapy and health care. Guiding qi and activating qi is a method of strengthening the body and treating diseases by combining qigong, health care and massage. The room is full of knowledge of sexual medicine, which contains some valuable things. We should cherish this cultural heritage, get rid of its false superstition and carry forward its scientific connotation.

The mentality should be peaceful, the body should be active, the nutrition should be balanced, and it should not be excessive. These are the three magic weapons advocated by the health-preserving people of various sects in the past dynasties.

In fact, it is not only diet and exercise that determine people's life span, but also a happy mood and a positive attitude. Tell your friend about this great discovery quickly. I wish you all health, happiness and longevity!
