It shows the world's leading 1000 research universities. There are 163 universities in China * *, among which there are 8 top 100 universities in the world, more than last year 1 university. Tsinghua University ranks 26th in the world and Peking University ranks 34th. Zhejiang University ranks 36th among the top 50 universities in the world for the first time, while Shanghai Jiaotong University, China University of Science and Technology, Fudan University and Sun Yat-sen University rank 54th, 62nd, 67th and 79th respectively. Huazhong University of Science and Technology ranks among the top 100 in the world for the first time, ranking 96th. Wenzhou University, Hainan University, Southwest University of Science and Technology, China West Normal University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Hunan Agricultural University, Hunan University of Technology, Liaocheng University and Tianjin University of Technology entered the top 1000 for the first time, indicating that the academic level and international influence of China University have been rapidly improved.
