In the early 1990s, four debaters from Fudan University spoke at the First International Debate Competition for College Students in Kan Kan, and finally won the first prize, winning glory for our country. Nearly 30 years have passed. What about them now?

1993, Fudan University received a phone call from the State Education Commission, asking Fudan to represent China in the first International Debate Competition for College Students, which will be held in Singapore.

Everyone began to prepare actively, and some students who were not keen on activities began to practice. Posters and banners were posted in the school, and the students were very excited.

Many people signed up for the activity, and after rough selection, 108 people participated. These people can be said to be the best among Fudan students, but they don't need so many people to take part in the competition.

So the school decided to hold an on-campus debate first, and then select students representing the country from the winning group.

Prepare for war nervously

In-school knockout is also a trick, but the eliminated students are not depressed, because those who stay on the stage are better, and the better China is, the greater the chance of winning.

After three rounds of elimination, 108 became 16. These people are the elite of the elite, but the number is still large, so a fourth round of confrontation is needed.

They went to the classroom where President Reagan gave a speech at Fudan University. It was hot at that time, but everyone didn't slack off. There were many students watching the war and the classroom was crowded.

Then the fourth round entered the fifth round, and the last six players won. They are Jiang Feng, Jia Yan, Ji Xiang, Jiang Changjian, He Xiaolan and Zhang Qian.

Next, these six students will have more than 80 days of closed training.

In closed training, they often have a PK of 1 5, and all kinds of thorny problems will appear, sometimes they will be too excited and even lack of oxygen in their brains.

A tense duel

In a blink of an eye, the official competition came. The first round opponent of Fudan team was Cambridge University, and the debate was whether food and clothing was a necessary condition for talking about morality.

The complicated debate did not overwhelm the Fudan team. They seized the loophole of Cambridge University, pointed out the common sense mistakes of the other side, and finally won.

Fudan University's second round opponent is the University of Sydney. The topic of the debate is "Is AIDS a medical problem or a social problem?" Both sides of the debate were very anxious, but Fudan University put forward a very innovative angle and finally narrowly defeated the University of Sydney team.

Final victory

Fudan University went all the way to the finals, and their final opponent was Taiwan Province Provincial University. Taiwan Province Provincial University has always performed well in the debate and is a strong opponent.

The final debate was "human nature is good", and the other side played very well. At this time, there were only four debaters left in our party, but they cooperated with each other tactfully and quoted the characters written by Mr. Jin Yong.

After repeated refutations, he defeated Taiwan Province Provincial University in one fell swoop and won the first place in this competition, winning glory for the country.

Many people paid attention to this debate, and four finalists became idols of young people at that time. Everyone wants to condemn Fang Qiu on the debate platform like them.

However, they still live a normal life. Among them, Jiang Feng became the host of CCTV after graduation, and later went to sea to do business;
