Okay, cut the crap. Let's start with this school. The full name of this school is Fan Daxue Wuhan Media College (the students in our school call her "Hua Chuan" for short). This is an art college with three majors, focusing on art and media respectively. These majors are not bad compared with similar schools.
My article is mainly about a non-art undergraduate who is going to apply for this school, such as: computer, telecommunications, English, Chinese, administration, e-commerce and so on. We call these candidates "Da Wen" (liberal arts candidates) and "Da Li" (science candidates). Art candidates and junior college students are not within the scope of my article (I am not discriminating against such candidates, but I am an undergraduate, and I am familiar with the "Da Wen" and "Da Li" of our school. Art candidates and junior college students can post it on Baidu for more information).
Let me start with three books. Several disadvantages of the three universities;
1, high tuition;
2. With limited resources, the school is at a disadvantage in terms of teachers, learning atmosphere, library collection and laboratory equipment.
3. When starting employment for the first time, the starting point may be lower and the employment pressure will be greater.
In the first aspect, if it is not a substantial obstacle for your family to increase the tuition fee by several thousand yuan every year, then don't talk about it any more. Because, I don't think it is necessary to influence your choice because of these thousands of dollars. Looking at it from another angle, it will cost a lot of money to repeat a year. In that case, you will work one year late and lose your income.
As for the resources of the school, frankly speaking, the resources of these famous schools, such as Peking University, Fudan University and Wuda University, are beyond the reach of three books and all two books. If you can be admitted to Fudan University in Peking University after one year's repetition, then I will advise you to repeat. But I don't think you have the confidence. It should be no problem for you to go to one or two universities for a year, but two universities in China are not necessarily better than three. Many colleges and universities are not that good, let alone two. The greatness of a university lies in its masters. But few universities in China, including Tsinghua of Peking University, can be regarded as masters. In this context, the most important thing in university study is self-study. If you don't study hard, it is useless to be admitted to a famous university; If you work hard enough, you can still learn a lot in the three colleges.
On the third aspect. It must be admitted that the starting point of employment in grass-roots universities is low. At least, Fortune 500 companies only habitually go to famous universities when recruiting fresh graduates. But a low starting point does not mean that it has been low, and falling at the starting line does not mean falling at the finish line. There are plenty of opportunities to rewrite all this after graduation. There are many cases in the book What to Read in University. Besides, not every graduate from three colleges has a low starting point. I have seen many graduates from grass-roots universities who are not as good as those from key universities when looking for jobs. The point is that you should spend four years in college to accumulate more capital than students in key universities.
At this point, the answer is self-evident. Of course, this is just my outspoken opinion. It depends on how you choose.
What I want to say about majors is, is there a major in your heart that you are very interested in? When you answer this question, you must calm down and think carefully, and put aside all worldly troubles, such as: XXX has a bright future, what my parents want me to study, and XXX works well ~ ~ ~
What university and major you choose is actually choosing the direction of your life. University is not for exams, not for graduate students, but for work (not just for work, of course). So when you fill in your volunteers, you should know what kind of work you want to do. If you don't like being a doctor and choose to apply for medical school just because of your parents' expectations, if you are not very interested in computers and apply for computer major just because others say that computers are very popular, it may set the stage for a "tragedy". Some people obviously don't like being teachers, so they apply for free normal students, but strangely, they are not depressed in the end. A medical college graduate in Wuhan was killed when he quarreled with his mother who gave birth to him and raised him because of his unsatisfactory work. He never liked medicine, but when he volunteered, his parents decided to let him apply for medicine. If the child had stuck to his ideal and his parents had respected his choice, the tragedy would not have happened.
Don't be superstitious about hot majors. Majors with the highest unemployment rate in recent years are almost all popular majors, such as computer, law, English, international economy and trade. Why are the unemployment rates in these occupations so high? The first reason is that the enrollment scale of these majors has greatly exceeded the actual needs of society. Any diploma workshop offers these popular majors, but can society digest so many graduates? Taking law as an example, it is almost impossible to find a few schools without law majors, but there are almost no positions in the talent market. How many people did the public security law and law firm get? Another reason is that many popular majors are superficial and can't learn anything at all. For example, marketing, international economy and trade are not very professional, and you can learn little in four years. Any other major can engage in marketing or international trade, and training is not necessarily required. Limited employment opportunities are bound to be divided up by many people in the fields of literature, history, philosophy and even archaeology and biology. Some majors are invincible, such as golf marketing and management. It is estimated that there is no worse major on earth. How many golf clubs are there? Why do they need this major when recruiting people? How many people who work in golf clubs are from regular schools? If anyone applies for a major like golf, nine times out of ten his family is an upstart (or he wants to be an upstart). On the contrary, some unpopular majors contain huge development space. For example, majors such as metallurgy and materials are not as popular as finance and law, but as long as they succeed, they can make a big difference.
In recent years, many colleges and universities have changed their names, and some majors have also changed into beautiful vests (for example, the library science major in many colleges and universities has been renamed information and information science). Be sure to have a pair of golden eyes, and don't be deceived by nice names. For example, Nanjing University of Finance and Economics has a nice name, but it is said that this school has nothing but a nice name. The original radio and television news major of Hua Chuan was divided into two majors: radio and television and director, but the content was almost divided into two majors, in order to recruit more students and earn more money.
If you have something interesting in mind, just like Stephen Chow loves movies; Like Bill Gates, he loves computers. Just as Picasso loved painting. If you also love a major very much, congratulations, you have a goal. If you really like this thing, please don't hesitate, don't be afraid, and boldly study and practice what you love. Even if there is no major you love in this school, you can devote your enthusiasm and youth to what you like in those years of college, and the major you applied for in this school can be ignored. If this school has a major you love, don't care about the school and the teachers (in fact, all three books are similar, and the teachers of the three books are just like that. If you have only three grades, you should basically study by yourself in these schools. In fact, these teachers can't teach anything, but at most teach some basic content. Throw yourself into what you love, forget all about eating and sleeping for her, and get carried away for her. I want to say "good luck" to these students.
But most students have nothing in their hearts that they like. To tell the truth, these students really didn't. After all, they are all young people aged 18 and 19. At this age, it may be too early for most people to talk about what they love. These students can read some letters written by Li Kaifu to college students. For this kind of students, there are probably two ways in front of them: one is to keep looking for what you like, look slowly, don't worry, and you will find it one day. Of course, this road has a premise. Your family is rich, or you are an only child. Your parents can afford your study life, and you don't need to make any contribution to your family. In the process of searching, you can learn some basic subjects well, such as: English (whether you passed CET-4 or CET-6 after college) and computer (whether you can program a certain language after college). These basic subjects will never go out of date.
Some students have to go another way. Perhaps the family situation of these students is not very good, parents' income depends on the sky, tuition is a loan, and their sister has already dropped out of school to work outside. For such students, it is more realistic to find a job to pay off tuition loans and make some contributions to their families after graduation. This also requires them not to find what they like slowly, to learn some impractical majors, and to get a diploma and find a job to earn money after reading is their only and necessary goal. Two books are recommended for this kind of students: Job hunting, from freshman year, what to learn in universities by Qin Biao's West Changjiang Literature and Art Publishing House (published on 20 10-05), and Qin Biao's Southwest Daily Publishing House (published in March 2006). I won't say much here (hehe, I'm not advertising, but the book about college students written by Qin Biaoxi is really good).
Finally, don't fall in love because of loneliness in college, or you will regret it. If you meet true love, you should try to cherish it.
Forget the most important words. I only went to the third edition for an undergraduate diploma. Don't expect too much from the third edition. She won't teach you anything. She only charges tuition. She can only give you three diplomas, and this diploma is almost like waste paper, and so is this school. Everything in the future depends on yourself and learn to be independent. Make good use of those years in college, read more books, study hard, make progress every day, and plan for the future. Don't be confused after graduation (there are many such people, and there are also many books). I wish my brothers and sisters a pleasant journey.
