The college undertakes more than 40 national, provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological projects, such as the "973" national major basic research project, the preliminary research project of the national major basic research project, the "863" national ocean project and the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation. During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, the project funds amounted to more than 57 million yuan. 1985, PSS, the first modern marine western medicine with international advanced level in China, was successfully developed, and it was industrialized with later developed marine drugs and bioengineering products such as "sugar ester" and "Hai Park Jung Su". At present, a class of new drugs (anti-AIDS marine drug prednisone, anti-cerebral ischemia drug D- polyglycerol, anti-atherosclerosis chitosan ester) from three countries have entered phase II clinical research; Anti-Alzheimer's drug HSH-97 1 was approved for clinical research of new drugs, and urinary calculi inhibitor HSH-872 completed the clinical application of new drugs; In the past five years, we have applied for 8/kloc-0 patents at home and abroad, and 23 patents have been authorized; Published 127 articles in SCI. The research results won the National Science and Technology Conference Award, the third prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the highest science and technology award in Shandong Province 10.
The College pays attention to extensive academic exchanges and cooperation with well-known scientific research institutes at home and abroad, and has established long-term and effective cooperative relations with scientific research institutes such as China Academy of Medical Sciences, Shanghai Institute of Pharmacy, Shanghai Institute of Organic Sciences, Kunming Institute of Botany, China Academy of Military Medical Sciences and China Academy of Preventive Medicine.
