According to Baidu Encyclopedia, Hubei University, referred to as "Huda", is located in Wuhan, Hubei Province. It is a provincial-level key comprehensive university jointly established by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education, and ranks among the "double-class" construction universities in Hubei Province. It has successively been selected into the national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Colleges and Universities in the Midwest", "1 1 plan", Hubei 201plan, national innovation and entrepreneurship training plan for college students, national new engineering research and practice project and national "Hundred Schools Project".
