Shaanxi Radio and TV University is the only comprehensive modern distance education open university in Shaanxi Province. The school was founded in 1978 and 1978 in February, which is under the jurisdiction of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and is in charge of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education. The school implements a school-running system of overall planning, classified guidance, hierarchical management and compartmentalization. The school is divided into two campuses, Guodu and Hanguang, with a total area of 368 mu.
The school offers 19 undergraduate courses and 49 junior adult education majors; There are 20 undergraduate majors and 48 junior majors in open education. At present, the school has more than 55,000 students1all kinds of education, which is the school with the largest number of students in our province.
The extended information school has set up 10 branch schools in all cities in the province, and more than 120 workstations and directly affiliated teaching points in provincial offices, major industrial systems and counties (cities), forming a network learning environment in which "Skynet, Ground Network and People Network" work together, provincial schools, branch schools and teaching points communicate with each other, forming the largest distance education in our province.
The school has built a modern teaching system that can satisfy students' autonomous learning, integrated radio, television, satellite and computer internet, and carried out distance teaching by using online platforms, online video on demand, two-way video and other facilities, realizing the modernization of teaching information transmission, reception, feedback and teaching management.
The school has also established the Shaanxi Higher Continuing Education Credit Bank College Alliance with Shaanxi universities where xi Jiaotong University and other universities 16 are located, forming a team of distance education teachers with high quality, reasonable structure and full-time and part-time combination.
