Yili normal university, Xinjiang, located in Yining City, Xinjiang, is an ordinary normal school managed by Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is an institution jointly established by the Ministry of Education, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Jiangsu Province. The school, formerly known as Xinjiang Yili College, was established in 1948. 1953 changed its name to Yili Normal School. 1980 was upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate college with the approval of the State Council, and was named yili normal university. 20 18 12, renamed yili normal university with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
