How do you turn yourself into top student when you just go to college?
Now I'm a study committee member, and my grades can only be ranked 10% before grade, not really top student. But as far as my own reflection on learning and observation of top students in grades are concerned, you need to pay attention to the following points if you want to become a master in college:

1. Define your goal. When I first entered the freshman year, a junior who had been the first in the comprehensive examination for a long time shared our experience and said: We must be clear about our goals. If you don't know your future career plan now, it doesn't matter, but you should be clear about your plan after graduation from college. For example, what kind of awards do universities want to win, what kind of rankings they want to take, whether they want to take the postgraduate entrance examination or go abroad directly after graduation, and they will think about it when they are freshmen. Don't think that you really have nothing to do in your freshman year. When you decide to go for the postgraduate entrance examination in your junior year, you find that your original grades can't keep up, or you want to take the postgraduate entrance examination, only to find that you haven't passed CET-6, and even suddenly want to go abroad, but you will start preparing for IELTS and TOEFL from your junior year. It's really late to think about these things in junior year. ? After listening to his story and combining his experience after my friend's cousin was admitted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, I found that having a clear goal is indeed an important way to succeed. Even those who win the lottery have a clear goal of getting rich overnight, so we should set a goal.

2. A high degree of self-discipline. College life is very different from high school life. One of them is that we have no choice in high school life. Even the time for self-study in the evening is slowly occupied by homework. But college is different. There is a lot of extra-curricular time in college, and no one forces you to do anything. Therefore, you must arrange your own enrichment. I have always had a goal, which is to enrich my college life, but because of my self-discipline, it is difficult to achieve it. What kind of books to read, what knowledge points to review and what kind of exams or competitions to prepare for every day are all my own decisions. You have freedom, but whether you can give full play to your freedom depends on your self-discipline.

3. Communicate with teachers more. Unlike high school teachers, college teachers leave after class. So it is difficult to have a deep impression on a classmate, so you can't just rely on good grades to get acquainted. You must communicate with the teacher more. Many university activities need one or two instructors. Whether professional teachers can participate in their own projects depends on your ability. Moreover, many academic problems in the university are difficult for you to understand, so you must communicate with teachers to have a deeper understanding.

4. Participate in various competitions. University tyrants are diverse, and you can't become a tyrant just by getting good grades. In addition, you must have other abilities to prove your comprehensive quality. The distribution of university scholarships mostly depends on comprehensive evaluation, that is, comprehensive evaluation, which requires you to participate in various activities and obtain good rankings, deliver some works, and obtain publishing qualifications.
