Peking university health science center (hereinafter referred to as Peking Medical University, Peking? University health? Science? Center), established on June 26th, 19 12, 10, located in Beijing. It is the first national school in China that relies on China's own strength to teach western medicine. Its predecessor was the National Beijing Medical College, and it was renamed peking university health science center on May 4th, 2000.
Beijing Medical University integrates teaching, scientific research and medical treatment, focusing on undergraduate education and postgraduate education. Its disciplines cover basic medicine, clinical medicine, stomatology, pharmacy, preventive medicine and nursing, and its specialties are complete. The specialty of stomatology in basic medicine is eight years, and the specialty of clinical medicine is divided into five years and eight years.
Peking university health science center is the first batch of institutions of higher learning under the national "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project". It is one of the most important medical innovation research bases and advanced medical and health personnel training bases in China, and it is a member of the "double first-class" medical construction alliance.
Conditions for running a school:
By September 2020, there will be five colleges: Basic Medical College, Pharmacy College, Public Health College, Nursing College and Medical Humanities College. Six directly affiliated hospitals, four affiliated hospitals and 15 teaching hospital undertake the teaching, scientific research and practical tasks of related disciplines and provide medical and health care services to the society.
Beijing Medical University 10 undergraduate majors: basic medicine, clinical medicine, stomatology, pharmacy, preventive medicine, nursing, English (biomedical English direction), medical experiment, medical laboratory science, stomatology technology; 1 major: nursing. By September 2020, Beijing Medical University has three national first-class key disciplines and 12 national second-class key disciplines.
